Visualize resting on the lunar disc. At the end of the session, visualize Amitabha, the essence of life from the three thousand worlds gathers into Amitabha. Amitabha dissolves into light and merges into your own body, filling it with nectar. Visualize transforming into an immortal, indestructible Vajra body. In this state, recite the Vajra Guru Hundred Syllable Mantra: (Tibetan)ཨོཾ་ཨཱ༔ཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི༔(Sanskrit Devanagari)嗡 啊 吽 班匝 咕噜 贝玛 悉地 吽 舍 (Sanskrit Romanization)oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma siddhi hūṃ hrīḥ(Literal Chinese meaning)Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum Hri. This is the beginning of prolonging life and initiating transference of consciousness. The signs of transference and the transference at the time of death are known from the oral instructions, and this is very profound. This is the clear recitation text for transference. The signs of transference are: itching of the crown of the head, swelling, emptiness, tingling, cracking, and the appearance of blood and pus, etc. The mind becomes erratic, without support, and empty. At that point, grasp the target. Then, strive in supplication. The non-sectarian wandering monk Tsewang Norbu wrote this at Drakga Sengge Namdzong (Rock Cliff Lion Sky Fortress) on the seventeenth day of the Rabbit Month (April). May it be virtuous! From the Profound Oral Instruction Section: The Recitation for Transference of Consciousness - The Excellent Path of Great Bliss.
