In the realm of primordial wisdom, perfectly endowed in every way, having attained the great transference, possessing the stainless knowledge of the five sciences, at this time, adorned with the saffron robes, a virtuous friend, Rigdzin Wangyal, may your feet remain firm for hundreds of kalpas! From the ocean of the Victorious One's teachings, holding the lineage of the Ancient Translation school, at the summit of the confident and powerful ones, may the sublime Lama, like a wish-fulfilling gem, manifest ever higher, from the depths of my heart, I pray that you live long! Wisdom, Manjushri, the ascetic Shiwatso (Śāntarakṣita), the lord of accomplishment, Padmakara, benefiting beings, possessing all the qualities of a wise, disciplined, and excellent one, Vajradhara, may your feet remain forever firm! Not out of pretense, but with sincere reverence from the heart, with the meaning of the supplication made by faithful disciples, just as it is, may you, the protector, live long, and may the essential doctrine increase like the ocean in summer! Thus, this prayer for the stability of the lotus feet of Nub Monastery Pema Rigdzin Wangyal, who is inseparable from the root guru Vajradhara, was spoken by Tshewang Norbu, a vidyādhara born in the southern region of Ü-Tsang (dbus 'gyur, central Tibet), on an auspicious day of the Iron Pig year, in the Jampa Cloud Temple. The one who transformed it into written form is the Shakya monk, Vajradhara Orgyen Ngawang Yeshe Pal Zangpo, whose power of pure karma and aspiration has turned into a fortunate kalpa. Excellent!
