༈ Abridged Lineage Supplication ༈ Abridged Lineage Supplication Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Samantabhadra, the all-pervading primordial Buddha, Vajrasattva, the great secret embodying all lineages, At the feet of Padmākara, the embodiment of all victors, I pray, grant me the supreme ripening. Yeshe Tsogyal, the secret Ḍākinī, Nuden Dorje, the powerful treasure revealer who guides beings in degenerate times, At the feet of Rinchen Dechen Lingpa, the master of accomplishment, I pray, grant me the supreme ripening. Terton Rol Dorje, whose compassion is wondrous, At the feet of Chetsang, who wields power over the ocean of scriptures, At the feet of Tshewang Norbu, the lineage-holding yogi, I pray, grant me the supreme ripening. Through the power of praying to the lineage lamas in this way, May I be ripened by the four empowerments, liberated by the generation and completion stages in union, May the fruition of perfected experience and realization come early, May the two benefits be spontaneously accomplished, and may it be glorious for beings. This was spoken in front of Drakga Padma Shephuk by Rigdzin Tshewang Norbu at the urging of Sangye Lhundrup, a student of the blind great siddha Sangye Dorje. Sarva Maṅgalaṃ! Oṃ! Samantabhadra Vajrasattva, the general glory of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, Padmākara of Garab Dorje, the light body who tames beings, Dechen Lingpa, who subdues māras with compassion and desire, At the feet of the root lama, the essence of all gatherings, I pray, bless my being, Grant me supreme and common siddhis. This was written by Tshewang Norbu at Yegong at the request of the steward of Menchu. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Samantabhadra Padmasambhava, the magical dance, Padma Dechen Lingpa, Karma Rigdzin, At the feet of Tshewang Norbu, the non-dual heart son, I pray, ripen and liberate my being.
