At the feet of Richö Rabten, the Enjoyer, I pray! May the glory of Tsewang Norbu, the holder of the treasury of ripening and liberating instructions through his kindness, be invoked! To the exceptionally profound oral instructions of pristine self-awareness, to the kind Dharma Lord who reveals them, and to the root guru who embodies all lineages, I pray! May I always enter the path of the essential Dharma lineage, the legacy of all Buddhas. I take refuge in the infallible Buddha and guru. May I generate the mind of enlightenment, motivated by the intention to benefit all beings! Having obtained the precious human rebirth, which is difficult to find and easily lost, and being weary of the long-lasting suffering of samsara, may I diligently rely on the root guru, who is a guide on the unerring path, even more than the Buddha! With unwavering faith and steadfast devotion, by praying with one-pointedness, may the obscurations of myself and all beings be purified, may the blessings of the guru enter our hearts, and may we attain the kingdom of the realized ones of the essential lineage! The key points of mind—the view to establish, the method of abiding, the way to apply the path for those of lower capacity with support and without support—may those of middling capacity carry appearances and awareness to the path of cutting through the root, and may those of highest capacity gain stability by letting awareness settle naturally! May we unerringly recognize the nature of mind, become familiar with it, stabilize it, skillfully eliminate faults, maintain the warmth of qualities, and as yogis with a continuous stream of post-meditation like a river, may we attain mastery over life, like the holy Mipham Gön! May we quickly attain the complete result of the path through the blessings of the essential lineage, which is like a wish-fulfilling jewel, and the supreme instructions of naked awareness! Thus, in the lineage supplication for the empowerment and guidance of the Naked Seeing of Healing Science, on an auspicious day of the virtuous Minyak month, near the hermitage of the Dakini Shami Lhakhang at Lungdo Pakam Dzong in Upper Bhöd, these words were spoken out of his own devotion by the Vidyadhara Tsewang Norbu.
