༈ A letter offered to Gyalwang Kelsang Gyatso. ༈ A letter offered to Gyalwang Kelsang Gyatso. ༈ To the lotus feet of the omniscient lama, the great protector of the world, the dancer in monastic robes, the object of offerings from all beings, including gods, with jewels on their crowns, where lotus flowers bloom in full splendor. I humbly submit this request. From the beginning, beyond increase and decrease, as the original protector, revered as the common ancestor of all victors, with impartial compassion encompassing all beings in the sky, possessing the radiant essence of all virtues, in every way becoming the glory and protector of beings, with the magical dance that tames beings according to their needs, beyond measure, like the Buddha himself, and the forms of his sons and disciples, similarly, the wheel-turning king, and the powerful king, ministers, householders, wish-fulfilling jewels, and wish-fulfilling trees, fulfilling the desires of sentient beings in various forms of support and supported, ultimately guiding them to the path of liberation and omniscience, and temporarily bestowing complete glory, without remainder, becoming the supreme guide, surely the embodiment of the activities of the victors, now for the benefit, happiness, and all auspiciousness of the beings of the degenerate age of the five impurities, the renewed embodiment of the wisdom, compassion, and power of all victors, the dancer in monastic robes, whose body with marks and signs surpasses even the setting sun, possessing the nature of overcoming all fears, victorious in all directions, stands firmly and brightly on the throne that captivates the mind, dwelling as the one without equal in the world. Here, I, a renunciate and hermit, even smaller than a particle, relying on the compassion of the holy protectors, my life has not declined, my aspiration for virtue has not diminished, striving to learn from the biographies of the holy ones as much as I can, am now on my way to the foot of Mount Gyalgyi Shiri in Latö (present-day Rikaze, Tibet). Especially I pray. The Victors, for the sake of the true meaning, are free from all the elaborations of birth and death, the profound and peaceful, free from elaboration, great bliss, the eternal, steadfast, and unchanging essence.

超越了一切衰老和退化的，如智者般广阔的身躯，虽然不以劝请和祈祷为目的，但为了利益众生而显现的色身，为了使被调伏者生起厌离和增长欢喜，像被调伏者一样示现各种生死的现象，并且也依赖劝请和祈祷的方式。如今五浊恶世兴盛之时，总的来说，众生和特别是雪域（西藏）的被调伏者，烦恼深重，痛苦不堪的我们，您是雪域众生的吉祥、怙主、依靠、舟船和安乐的洲岛，是雪域所有众生的天中之天，三界怙主莲花手，我从内心祈祷您的莲足永固于无量劫。供养的物品即使像莲花的丝线或吉祥草的根一样极其微细，但殊胜的发心不仅限于现在的这个时刻，而是从很久以前，就以如海螺、月亮、白睡莲、莲藕般洁白的意念，在年节时为了身体的显现，安排寂静的缘起，显得极其重要，为了象征缘起安排的方式，特意赞颂并献上吉祥的偈颂和少许缘起物品，请以慈悲大爱的目光垂视，并祈愿莲足永固于无量劫。请您垂念，垂念，垂念！愿成百上千的祈祷都能实现愿望。虽然无有分别的众生早已安住于诸位大成就者的慈悲关怀之中，但我等以孩童般的心智，因强烈的愿望而有所期盼，祈愿您不要舍弃我们，将我们置于大慈悲的坛城之中，也祈愿我们能进入法界无生之境。请您垂念，垂念，垂念！以大慈大悲为本性，长长的眼角转动，以神圣的加持力束缚着，在新的一年即将到来之际，在孟加拉月（藏历一月）的白分的第一天，从嘉（地名）的肋冈（地名）的边缘献上的书信。愿一切吉祥！ 呈献给嘉瓦·格桑嘉措（第七世达赖喇嘛）的信函。

Transcending all aging and decay, with a body as vast as a wise one, although not aimed at exhortation and supplication, the form body that appears for the benefit of beings, in order to arouse aversion and increase joy in those to be tamed, manifests all kinds of phenomena of birth and death like those to be tamed, and also relies on the manner of exhortation and supplication. Now, in this time when the five degenerations are rampant, generally, beings and especially the beings to be tamed in the Land of Snows (Tibet), who are afflicted and miserable, you are the auspiciousness, protector, refuge, boat, and island of bliss for all beings in the Land of Snows, the god of gods of all beings in the Land of Snows, the Lord of the Three Realms, the Lotus-Handed One. From the depths of my heart, I pray that your lotus feet may remain firm for countless eons. Although the objects of offering may be as subtle as a lotus thread or a blade of kusha grass, the sublime intention is not limited to this present moment alone, but from a long time ago, with a mind as white as a conch shell, the moon, a white lotus, or a lotus root, in order to manifest the body at the time of the year, arranging the auspicious interdependence of peace is seen as supremely important. In order to symbolize the way of arranging interdependence, I especially praise and offer auspicious verses and a few interdependent objects. Please look upon us with eyes of great compassion and love, and pray that your lotus feet may remain firm for countless eons. Please remember, remember, remember! May hundreds and thousands of prayers be fulfilled. Although all sentient beings without exception have long been dwelling in the care of the great compassion of the great accomplished ones, we, with the minds of children, expect with intense desire, and pray that you will not abandon us, placing us in the mandala of great compassion, and also pray that we may enter the realm of the unborn Dharmadhatu. Please remember, remember, remember! This letter, offered from the edge of Gyal (place name) Rib Ridge (place name) on the first day of the white part of the Mönlam month (Tibetan first month) as the new year of Angkira approaches, is bound by the touch of the divine, which moves the long-cornered eyes, the nature of great love and great compassion.
