༈ Profound Song, Springtime of Wisdom. ༈ Profound Song, Springtime of Wisdom. Oṃ Svasti. Om, may there be well-being!). The wisdom spring of all Victorious Ones' hearts, The bindu of Padmasambhava, unified as one, Whose feet are worshiped by the three realms of existence, May that Protector always bring goodness. The gathering of the fourfold assembly of abundance, the royal city, The supreme chief of all kinds of numerologists, Whoever becomes his son, with faith, reverence, and virtuous mind, To that one who becomes a Vajra disciple, For the sake of making this leisure and endowment meaningful, I request the essential practice of the Guru's instructions. From beginningless samsara until now, I have drowned in the ocean of suffering from countless births and deaths, Now, through the power of merit, for once, Cherish this attainment of a human body to take its essence. If you do not know the suffering of the beginningless lower realms, You will not realize the benefits of happiness and liberation, If you do not turn away from attachment to the three realms of samsara, You will not trust in achieving lasting peace and tranquility. Therefore, you should fully know the suffering of the lower realms, And you should also turn away from attachment to the three realms of samsara. For that purpose, take refuge in the chief of all refuges, Do not abandon the Three Jewels, but take refuge. Without seeking peace and happiness for yourself alone, Constantly generate the mind of enlightenment for beings pervading space. Although there are endless varieties of Dharma paths to liberation, The ultimate of all is the unsurpassed Secret Mantra. Its path is the stages of generation and completion, Although there are many varieties of the generation stage, its essence is: The ordinary self-grasping aggregates in the womb of emptiness, The mind itself, the self-radiance, the body of innate wind and mind, Clearly establish all aspects as the mudra of the deity's form, Appearing but not existing, existing but not established, Like an illusion, a mirror, a reflection, Make the appearance clear and the pride stable. Before the generation stage, such as the arrival of wisdom, is complete, Effortlessly attain longevity, common and supreme attainments, And without doubt, attain the true supreme attainment in the bardo. No matter how long it takes, enlightenment will be achieved in the future. Therefore, the generation stage of the unsurpassed Mantra, Is worthy of being practiced while remembering its many qualities. The stages of the limb, knowledge mantra, and verbal recitation, Should always be diligently practiced, abandoning distraction and busyness. With the mind restrained, the wind controlled, the Vajra recitation, Will bestow the fruit of Buddhahood in one lifetime. Although there are many completion stages, with and without signs, If condensed into essence, it is the Dharmakaya of the Buddha.

My mind's innate, self-existing face, Beyond knowing it as it is, there's no other completion stage. That also requires the key instructions from a qualified lama, To thoroughly cut off the coming and going, the abiding nature of the mind. Devoid of object, beyond expression, free from the extremes of elaboration, Not just words, but truly hitting the essential point is crucial. That also requires the present mind to rest naturally, Not too tight, not too loose, Taking mere recognition of self-nature as the root of practice. Therefore, if too tight, one falls into the narrowness of an ant's waist, If too loose, one goes under the control of heedless distraction. The balance of tightness and looseness, like silk threads, Maintaining awareness is agreed upon by all inner meaning practitioners. Indispensable, it is the essence of profound depth. When ultimate realization dawns, Where would there be the elaboration of tightness and looseness? It is the true view that transcends the eight extremes. Day and night, the luminosity of the environment is the best of meditations, Exhausting acceptance and rejection, conceptual thoughts, is the root of conduct, Taking hold of the stronghold of the three kayas is considered the result. Such a method of realization, the key of interdependent origination, All is solely through the blessings of the lama. That also requires, before connecting with empowerment and Dharma, Carefully examining the qualities of the lama. Those who are mixed up, break vows, and are flawed, After connecting with empowerment and Dharma, one should not examine them. The general meaning of empowerment and especially the meaning of mind nature, The lama who shows it surpasses all Buddhas. Cherishing as much as the eyes, valuing as much as the heart, Without hypocrisy, diligently pray with devotion. The essence of the eighty-four thousand Dharmas is, The ultimate method of attaining Buddhahood, Its ultimate is the two stages of maturation and liberation, Its life force is devotion to the lama, It is the indispensable essence of Dharma, A hundred sayings, a thousand sayings, the root lies there. Speaking like that has no end, Please keep in mind the few important words. Thus, at the urging of Puntsok Namgyal, son of the accountant of the Kongyul Tselhagang Dzong residence, on the third of the red auspicious day of the sixth month of the Wood Ox year (1925), according to the Phukluk reckoning, Tsewang Norbu, the vidyadhara, wrote this in the grove of trees. Sarva Mangalam! Profound Song, Splendor of Primordial Wisdom.
