To me, like an old horse wasting a life of leisure and opportunity, please look with compassion, noble lamas! I am a great box of bad karma and the five poisons. All my actions increase as causes for samsara and the lower realms. Whatever I do is mixed with worldly affairs. There is no time to perfect the power of realization. Non-dharmic thoughts increase more and more. Involuntarily, weariness arises from the depths of my heart. To this clinging to hope and fear, how sad! To this subtle ignorance, how weary! Now it is time to seek a secluded mountain retreat. It is time to cut off the cycle of karma in this life. It is time to arrange auspicious and unfailing interdependence. It is time to arrange the interdependence of Padmasambhava's teachings. It is time to spur oneself on with the iron hook of diligence. It is time to cultivate excellent, unwavering virtue. It is time to take refuge at the feet of the noble superiors. Now is the time to accomplish the spontaneous fulfillment of the two benefits. Tshewang Norbu offers his own advice. It is time to abandon meaningless, empty actions. In Mangyul Gungtang Smai Lingwa Drakmar Dzong, both meaningless sorrow and joy increase, and where one will go in future lives
