༈ དམ་བཅའ་བཅུ་གཅིག་གི་མགུར། ༈ དམ་བཅའ་བཅུ་གཅིག་གི་མགུར། ཀྱེ་མ་ཧོ། བསྐལ་པར་རྙེད་དཀའ་དལ་འབྱོར་རིན་ཆེན་ལུས། །ད་རེས་ཐོབ་འདི་སྟོང་ལོག་མི་འཚལ་ཏེ། །སྔོན་ཆད་ལས་ཀུན་གཡེང་བ་བག་མེད་དང་། །ཉོན་མོངས་རགས་པ་ཆོས་བརྒྱད་དབང་དུ་སོང་། །ཚུལ་དེ་དྲན་ན་སྐྱོ་ཤས་འཕེལ་བའི་རྒྱུ། །མི་ཚེ་ངལ་ཀུན་ལག་སྟོང་ཅན་དུ་བཅུག །དེང་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་ལྷག་བསམ་དྲིལ་བར་བྱ། །འགྲུབ་པར་རྩ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མའི་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །ཀྱེ་མ། ཚུལ་མིན་བག་མེད་ལུས་ཀྱི་སྤྱོད་མང་འདི། །གཞན་སྣང་མི་མཐུན་ཐར་པའི་གེགས་སུ་ཆེ། །དེ་བས་སྤྱོད་ལམ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བག་ཡོད་ཞིང་། །ཚུལ་ལྡན་བྱེད་པ་དམ་བཅའ་གཅིག་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། ཐབས་ཀྱིས་མ་ཟིན་རླུང་ནུས་མ་ཐོབ་བར། །བུད་མེད་གྲོགས་བརྟེན་རང་ཁྲེལ་ངན་སོང་ལྟུང་། །དེ་བས་ཐབས་ལྡན་ནུས་པ་མ་འབྱོངས་བར། །བུད་མེད་མི་བརྟེན་དམ་བཅའ་གཉིས་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། ངག་འཁྱལ་བྲེ་མོའི་འཆལ་ཚིག་བརྗོད་པ་འདི། །རང་གཞན་ཆགས་སྡང་དོན་འཆལ་བཟླས་བརྗོད་བདུད། །དེ་བས་ངག་ལ་བག་ཆགས་ཚིག་དམ་ཞིང་། །ཆོས་མིན་མི་སྨྲ་དམ་བཅའ་གསུམ་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། བདག་གཞན་བསྟོད་སྨད་ཚིག་གི་སྒྲོ་སྐུར་འདི། །རང་གཞན་ཕྱོགས་འཛིན་དུཿཁའི་རྒྱུ་བསགས་པས། །དེ་བས་དག་སྣང་ཕྱོགས་མེད་བསྟོད་སྨད་སྤངས། །བཏང་སྙོམས་བཞག་པ་དམ་བཅའ་བཞི་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། རྫུན་ཚིག་འདི་ནི་ཀུན་ཏུ་མི་མཐུན་ཞིང་། །གསུང་གི་ཡོན་ཏན་འཇོམས་པའི་ཧ་ལ་འདྲ། །དེས་ན་གཏིང་དཔག་དཀའ་ཕྱིར་མ་གཏོགས་པར། །རྫུན་དུ་མི་སྨྲ་དམ་བཅའ་ལྔ་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། དཀོན་མཆོག་མནའ་སྤང་འདི་ནི་མནར་མེད་པར། །རྡོ་རྗེ་དམྱལ་བར་ལྟུང་བྱེད་ཞགས་པ་སྟེ། །དེ་ཡང་བསྟན་ཕན་གལ་ལྕི་མ་གཏོགས་པར། །བརྗོད་པར་མི་བྱེད་དམ་བཅའ་དྲུག་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། རོ་ཉལ་ལེ་ལོ་སྙོམས་ལས་གཡེང་བ་འདི། །མི་ཚེ་སྟོང་ཟད་དངོས་གྲུབ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་གེགས། །དེ་བས་རོ་ཉལ་ལེ་ལོ་ཉུང་བྱས་ཤིང་། །ཆོས་བརྗོད་བརྩོན་བསྐྱེད་དམ་བཅའ་བདུན་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། ཆོས་ཀུན་རྩ་བ་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ལ། །འགལ་ན་རབ་འཇིགས་རྡོ་རྗེ་དམྱལ་ལྟུང་ངེས། །དེས་ན་དམ་ཚིག་སྲོག་དང་ཁྱད་མེད་པར། །འདའ་མེད་བསྲུང་བ་དམ་བཅའ་བརྒྱད་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། སེམས་ཀྱི་རེ་དོགས་འདོད་སྨོན་བྱེད་པ་འདི། །བྱ་བ་ཆོས་འདྲེས་བྱེད་པའི་སེལ་ངན་ཡིན། །དེ་ཡང་མི་བྱེད་གང་ཤར་ཞེན་མེད་པར། །སྒྱུ་མ་ལྟར་སྦྱངས་དམ་བཅའ་དགུ་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། དགེ་སྦྱོར་རང་ཉིད་གཅིག་པུའི་ཞི་བདེ་ཉིད། །བསྒྲུབ་འདོད་ཉན་རང་གོལ་དང་གཟུགས་སྐུ་སྒྲིབ། །དེས་ན་དགེ་སྦྱོར་བྱ་བ་གང་ཡང་རུང་། །མཁའ་མཉམ་འགྲོར་བསྔོ་དམ་བཅའ་བཅུ་པ་ཡིན། །ཀྱེ་མ། རང་ལ་ཡོན་ཏན་མེད་པར་ཡོད་བརྗོད་པའི། །ཟོལ་གྱི་ཚིག་འདིས་མཐར་ཐུག་ཐར་འབྲས་བརླག །དེས་ན་དད་ལྡན་སྤྲོ་ཕྱིར་མ་གཏོགས་པར། །ཡོན་ཏན་སྦས་སྤྱོད་དམ་བཅའ་བཅུ་གཅིག་ཡིན། །དེ་ལྟར་དམ་བཅའ་བཅུ་གཅིག་འདི་ཉིད་ནི། །ཚེ་འདིར་ནམ་ཡང་འདའ་བར་མི་བྱ་སྟེ། །དེ་ཡི་དགེ་བས་འགྲོ་ཀུན་སངས་རྒྱས་པ། །མྱུར་ཐོབ་སྐུ་གཉིས་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པར་ཤོག ། ཅེས་ཚེ་དབང་ནོར་བུས་རང་ལོ་བཅོ་ལྔ་པ་ཆོས་ཁྲིད་ཞུ་བའི་སྐབས་སུ་དམ་བཅས་པ་སྟེ་རང་གཞན་རྒྱུད་ལ་ཕན་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག ། ༈ དམ་བཅའ་བཅུ་གཅིག་གི་མགུར།

十一誓言之歌 十一誓言之歌 奇哉！劫难难得暇满人身， 今番获得切莫虚度啊！ 往昔诸事皆为放逸散乱， 粗重烦恼八法所控制。 忆念此等乃生忧伤之因， 人生诸般皆入徒劳之境。 从今以后精进凝聚菩提心， 祈愿根本传承上师加持成。 奇哉！不如法之放逸身行多， 与他相违实乃解脱之大障。 是故一切行止皆当谨慎细， 如法行持此乃第一之誓言。 奇哉！若未掌握方便风息力， 依仗女伴自惭堕落恶趣中。 是故未得方便能力成就前， 不依女伴此乃第二之誓言。 奇哉！语无伦次戏谑之秽语， 自他贪嗔颠倒复诵之魔语。 是故语具威严言辞要谨慎， 不说非法此乃第三之誓言。 奇哉！自赞毁他语词之增损， 自他偏袒积聚痛苦之因故。 是故清净观想无偏赞与毁， 置之不理此乃第四之誓言。 奇哉！妄语此乃一切不和合， 摧毁语之功德犹如毒药般。 是故若非深不可测之因缘， 不妄语说此乃第五之誓言。 奇哉！违背三宝誓言此乃无间狱， 堕入金刚地狱之罗网也。 是故若非利教之重任， 不妄言说此乃第六之誓言。 奇哉！如尸而卧懒惰懈怠散乱者， 人生虚度成就二利之障碍。 是故减少如尸而卧之懒惰， 勤奋讲经说法此乃第七之誓言。 奇哉！一切佛法之根本根本之上师， 违背则极恐堕入金刚地狱中。 是故视誓言如生命般珍贵， 不逾越守护此乃第八之誓言。 奇哉！心中期盼希冀之念想， 乃是世间法混杂佛法之劣种。 是故不作意随显现不执著， 如幻化般修持此乃第九之誓言。 奇哉！善行唯独自身之寂静乐， 不

The Song of Eleven Vows The Song of Eleven Vows Alas! How rare to find in an eon, this precious human body with leisure and opportunity! Having obtained it now, do not let it be in vain! In the past, all actions were scattered in carelessness, And gross afflictions were under the control of the eight worldly concerns. Remembering this is the cause for increasing sorrow, Putting all of life's efforts into an empty state. From now on, let us gather pure intentions, May the blessings of the root and lineage lamas help us succeed. Alas! This improper and careless bodily conduct is A great obstacle to liberation, conflicting with others' perceptions. Therefore, always be mindful in all conduct, Acting properly is the first vow. Alas! Until you have mastered the skillful means and gained control of the wind energy, Relying on female companions will lead to self-reproach and falling into the lower realms. Therefore, until you have developed skillful means and power, Not relying on women is the second vow. Alas! Speaking idle chatter, frivolous and lewd words, Is a demon of repetition, causing attachment, hatred, and corrupting meaning for oneself and others. Therefore, be mindful and disciplined in speech, Not speaking of non-Dharma is the third vow. Alas! Praising oneself and criticizing others, exaggerating words, Is accumulating the cause of suffering by being biased towards oneself and others. Therefore, abandon praise and criticism with pure perception and impartiality, Remaining equanimous is the fourth vow. Alas! Lying words are always discordant, Like poison that destroys the qualities of speech. Therefore, unless it is for reasons that are difficult to fathom, Not speaking falsely is the fifth vow. Alas! Breaking vows to the Three Jewels is like the Avici hell, A noose that causes one to fall into the Vajra hell. Therefore, unless it is for the great benefit of the teachings, Not speaking of it is the sixth vow. Alas! Lying down like a corpse, being lazy, negligent, and distracted, Wastes life and obstructs the two siddhis (achievements). Therefore, reduce lying down like a corpse and being lazy, Generating diligence in speaking the Dharma is the seventh vow. Alas! The root of all Dharma is the root guru, Contradicting him is extremely frightening and will surely lead to falling into the Vajra hell. Therefore, keep the samaya (vow) as inseparable from life, Protecting it without transgression is the eighth vow. Alas! Having hope and doubt, desires and wishes in the mind, Is a bad weed that mixes worldly activities with Dharma. Therefore, not doing that, without attachment to whatever arises, Training like an illusion is the ninth vow. Alas! The peace and happiness of practicing virtue for oneself alone, Not

不欲听闻自赞毁他语，因此任何善行之举，皆回向虚空般众生，此乃第十条誓言。 唉呀！自己无有功德却说有，此虚伪之语终将毁坏解脱果。因此，除非为了令具信者欢喜，隐藏功德而行，此乃第十一条誓言。 如是这十一条誓言，此生之中无论何时皆不应违越，以此之善愿，一切众生速得成佛，愿速疾获得二身任运成就。 如此，策旺诺布于十五岁时，听闻佛法开示之际立誓，愿利益自他相续。 ༈ 十一条誓言之歌。

Not wanting to hear words of self-praise and disparagement of others, therefore, whatever virtuous deeds are done, may they be dedicated to beings as vast as space, this is the tenth vow. Alas! Claiming to possess qualities one does not have, such deceitful words ultimately destroy the fruit of liberation. Therefore, unless it is to please the faithful, concealing one's qualities and practicing, this is the eleventh vow. Thus, these eleven vows, should never be transgressed in this life, and by the merit of this, may all beings quickly attain Buddhahood, may the two kayas be swiftly and spontaneously accomplished. Thus, Tshewang Norbu, at the age of fifteen, made these vows while receiving Dharma teachings, may it benefit the mindstreams of oneself and others. ༈ A Song of the Eleven Vows.
