And is the origin of suffering. The continuum of Dharma is the truth of cessation. The continuum of wisdom is the truth of the path. As long as these exist, may the fruit of this aspiration exist. Thus, these ten aspirations must also be planted through the ten aspects of ultimate reality. Just as the ultimate extent of space is, so too is the limit of all sentient beings. As much as karma and afflictions are ultimate, so too is the limit of my aspiration. It is said to encompass such meaning. These ten aspirations are found extensively in the Sutra of the Ten Bhumis, in the detailed explanation of the first bhumi. If you wish to know in detail, you should consult the sutra itself, as well as the connection with the great Bodhisattva Arya Vasubandhu. Although the words of the detailed explanation sutra and the words of the Noble Excellent Conduct Prayer can mostly be carefully combined, here they are not quoted for fear of becoming too numerous. Some later self-proclaimed scholars, I have seen them compile verses of the ten great aspirations. They have not seen the root text and commentary of the sutra, nor have they understood how to apply the meaning of the Excellent Conduct, so they are just names without understanding the meaning, which is also a laughing matter. Therefore, know that all the aspirations of the Bodhisattvas are contained in the countless ten hundred thousand great aspirations, and that these are all contained in the Excellent Conduct Prayer.
