In this dark city, Abandoning the burden of endless busyness, Peacefully enter the bed of the uncreated Dharmakaya. Possessing the ignorance that stirs the sleep poison of all arising, With the empty words of deceptive clinging and practice, From the conduct of deceiving children for pleasure, What is there that pleases the virtuous noble ones? The changes of the degenerate age are extremely swift, Contemplate the impermanence of appearances and awareness, and the eternal plan. Since it has become the degenerate age of life, life is short, Since there are many obstacles, contemplate the uncertainty of when death will come. Due to the degeneracy of beings, it is difficult to tame the wild and unruly, Reflect on the nature of mutual deception when associating with others. Bound by doubt and wrong views due to the degeneracy of views, Contemplate the sectarian attachment due to the abundance of clinging to superiority. Due to the degeneracy of afflictions, the five poisons blaze like fire, It is extremely difficult to subdue with other antidotes. With this swift path, the supreme instruction of clear light, In this life, please endure to realize primordial purity. Even though this secret path, attained thoroughly by the accomplished ones, Even though permission is granted by the mandated dakinis of space, It is not permissible to keep the practice secret hidden, The vajra words of the peerless vidyadhara lama are true. The virtue of relying on the meaning of this composition, I dedicate to beings enveloped in the womb of existence. Whatever faults there may be due to non-realization, I confess to the assembly of formless wisdom dakinis. If someone who hates the Dharma without investigation, With uncomprehended, corrupt reasoning, Transforms into the impure path of delusion, May the assembly of dakinis not forget, but be impartial witnesses.
