Not in accordance with the minds of the two friends, secular and Dharma, With the captivating dance of the new Dharma prostitute, With the beauty of flattering sweet words, Unable to strive to uphold the supreme doctrine of one's own tradition, Even the great ship of definitive meaning that crosses the ocean of samsara, Is shaken by the turbulent waves of public accusation, Seeing the life of eternal bliss being abandoned, Unable to bear it, I am happy to write this situation. Not my own thought, but as the Buddhas and their sons, Recorded as said by the undisputed wise ones, Whether it is correct or not, the unerring doctrine is that, May the wise who know the doctrine be witnesses. Before attaining the kingdom of realizing the definitive meaning, Gambling with the stakes of nominal speculation, Those who boast of being perfect spiritual friends appearing here, Will never see the true meaning. Therefore, whatever is the supreme secret of the Buddhas, With the wisdom of unerringly realizing the true nature, After destroying all of the object of seeing and the subject of seeing, May all beings abide in the meaning of no seeing. This concise compilation of the view, meditation, and conduct of Dzogchen, along with supplementary meanings that dispel doubts, was written by hand by Tsewang Chokdrub Ngedon Tenphel, a monk from Dokham, a learned image holder, who has a firm and irreversible faith after understanding the reason for this Dharma.
