Self-luminous awareness has seven parts: showing examples such as a lamp; the meaning of holding the mind with the intermediate of the three times; the signs of having grasped the mind; the method of resting without doubt like a bird entering its nest; like a king's consort, being bound by continuous observation; like a thief fleeing when detected, correcting by recognizing faults in one's own mind; and showing the experience of meditation. The general bestowal of wisdom has seven parts: the example of the sky; the meaning of holding the mind without grasping; the signs of having grasped the mind; the method of resting without arising or ceasing like a garuda soaring in the sky; like a treasure of jewels, searching by estimating the value in the subsequent awareness; like applying a mantra to poison, correcting by knowing the view without bias; and showing the experience of meditation.
