As the supreme teacher taught in the Hevajra Tantra and others, according to the instructions on the three kinds of practice with time limits and signs, one should examine whether the number of days of practice has reached the standard, or even if the time is uncertain, when firm signs of accomplishment have appeared, in order to actually accomplish the desired meaning, one should begin the great practice in the manner of outer, inner, and secret. Among these, the supreme Vajra accomplishment to be practiced should be performed as an assembly for attaining accomplishment during those night periods from when the sun sets and turns completely red until the dawn appears. Therefore, one must offer alcohol and meat, stimulate the samaya being with the samadhi accompanied by the sound of Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हूं,hūṃ,吽), and through the order of praising and offering to the deities of the mandala, in a way that pleases them, dissolve the phenomenal world of deities into light, collect the accomplishments by dissolving them into substances, and by tasting the three forms of letters with the Vajra tongue, one obtains the accomplishments of body, speech, and mind. After that, in connection with this, one should also bless other disciples by transmitting the substance of accomplishment and empower them to obtain accomplishment. Third, afterwards: take the accomplishment from the practice torma, divide the remainder into three parts, the first part is for fire offering, the middle part is for the Hevajra karma mantra recitation, and propitiate the dakinis. The third part is buried as an inexhaustible treasure. Then, gather the samadhi and the visualized mandala, make aspirations, and recite auspicious words. Through gradual absorption, the mother tantra dakinis return to the dharmadhatu, and for the sake of relying on them again and rejoicing, beat the rulu drum, and perform songs and dances. Dedicate the roots of virtue, and among fellow practitioners, mutually and all confess impurities to the teacher and the mandala deities, and express gratitude. After that, one should diligently engage in continuous samadhi, whether practicing peaceful or wrathful deities. And all the virtuous deeds of the three times, represented by practice and recitation, should be dedicated entirely for the benefit of all sentient beings, for the sake of attaining the supreme state of glorious Hevajra. Fourth, the colophon and translation colophon are: "The Great Practice, Accomplished for the First Time," was completed by the great accomplished master Vajra Hūṃkāra. And, the Tibetan deities.

By the decree of Tsadpo Trisong Detsen, in the glorious Nālandā Monastery, it was translated, revised, and finalized by the Indian Abbot Hūṃkāra himself and the great revising translator Bande Nub Namkhai Nyingpo. Thus it is. According to the Guru's command, may all beings become sprouts of great auspiciousness, accomplishing both aims, through the virtue of this exposition. This, as it is contained in the ear-whispered Dharma section of Padma Osel Do-ngak Lingpa, the lord of the complete teachings, the king of vidyādharas, was written by Mipham Jamyang Nampar Gyalwa according to the meaning of the empowerment and explanation of this path bestowed by that very lord, and may all directions be filled with the light of goodness and auspiciousness. Sarva Mangalam! Furthermore, from the Indian text of the vidyādhara Hūṃkāra, which is the direct transmission of the mind, the great omniscient teacher Padmasambhava extracted the hidden instructions, arranged the disordered parts, and completed the incomplete parts, thus creating the root text of the authentic accomplishment, along with the great secret commentary, which was bestowed as a profound Dharma to Jamyang, the actual emanation of Manjushri, the noble Trisong Detsen, and the seven fortunate subjects. Later, the Dharma King, an emanation, possessing seven transmissions, the omniscient Dorje Ziji, received the transmission of remembrance, pure vision, and ear-whispered lineage, thus possessing the blessings of the three lineages, and this, free from the faults of impure old copies, was annotated by Jamgön Mipham Rinpoche, making it easy to understand and clear in meaning. Moreover, it is the essence of the great secret commentary, the golden Dharma of condensed meaning, so all later followers of the early translation teachings should hold it in their hearts. Mangalam! A concise explanation of the true words.
