Just as mist dissipates, know that all the paths to liberation in the Buddha's teachings ultimately converge on the union of the two truths, relative and ultimate. This is because the dharmadhatu to be realized by them is the same, and there is only one ultimate method for realizing it. Therefore, the Sugata knows the methods for gradually taming beings according to their capacities, such as mild, medium, and sharp. All the methods taught by him ultimately lead to omniscient wisdom, and therefore it is the true path. Towards the teacher and his teachings, even if a billion demons bewilder the mind, one generates unwavering faith. Because emptiness of self-nature is combined with compassion, one obtains the self-arisen wisdom that does not abide in samsara or nirvana, or the supreme wisdom of the characteristics of prajnaparamita. Therefore, without needing to specifically negate the extremes of samsara and nirvana, one is naturally liberated. For sentient beings who have not realized this, great compassion arises effortlessly, pervading all directions and times. Thus, the principles of the two truths are correctly established by the four reasonings. From the flawless supreme cause that possesses the four functions and reliances, when the light of the fruit of profound wisdom fully blossoms, in the space of primordial awareness, like a lotus that blossoms without being realized by ordinary beings, the eight great treasures of confidence are opened: The scriptures previously heard and contemplated, the treasure of memory that is never forgotten. 1. Held by memory, for the profound emptiness, stages of the path, and other vast meanings that are difficult to understand, the treasure of intelligence that thoroughly distinguishes with wisdom. 2. The treasure of realization that completely comprehends all the meanings to be realized by the sutras and tantras. 3. Having obtained the four doors of dharani, the treasure of dharani that never forgets all the forms heard. 4. The treasure of confidence that satisfies all beings with well-spoken words that accord with the meaning. 5. The treasury of the precious jewels of the sacred Dharma, the treasure of Dharma that is completely protected by imparting it to fortunate ones and by refuting opponents with reasoning. 6. Because one becomes a Buddha oneself, thereby teaches the Dharma, and from this arises the necessity of the Sangha, thereby continuing the lineage of the Three Jewels, therefore the treasure of the lineage of conventional bodhicitta is uninterrupted. 7. The treasure of hearing and thinking.

When practicing the Dharma that has been established, in the Dharmata of unborn equality, obtaining patience is the treasure of accomplishment. 8. Here, the four: mindfulness, intelligence, realization, and retention, are the cause of fearlessness, while the treasure of Dharma, etc., are the result of fearlessness. The general name for all eight of these is fearlessness. As it is said, because one possesses mindfulness, etc., fearlessness arises, unafraid of anything. And because of fearlessness, protecting the Dharma, etc., arises. Therefore, the chief of these is fearlessness, hence it is called the eight treasures of fearlessness. Having obtained it in this way, without separation, and each one being limitless and inexhaustible. Whoever gains mastery over the eight great treasures, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas praise them as a supreme being, the excellent child of the Buddhas. And the Vidyadhara quickly becomes the protector of the three realms. Ro! The words of the Buddha, who has become a measure and wishes to benefit beings. All aspects are those that do not contradict the path of reason, and the valid cognitions that examine conventional and ultimate truth have established that they are far superior to external philosophies, etc. Therefore, the treatises of glorious Dharmakirti and Nagarjuna, etc., which distinguish the two truths, teach from the path of valid cognition, and because of generating supreme faith and understanding in the path they teach. The words of the valid cognitions, praised by the wise of the world, including gods, and the unsurpassed true fruit of the nectar of the Dharma, which even the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, etc., have not fully understood, is seen. Ngo! One's own view is extremely pure, having truly and completely known the nature of all Dharmas as they are. Having reached the culmination of great compassion, which saves others from suffering. Shakyamuni, the supreme being, the Sugata, having taught the path of the three vehicles to those to be tamed. Whatever nectar I have attained. Taste these through the door of the four reasons and the four reliances. As it is repeatedly said in the Sutras and Tantras, and having shared the nectar that you have attained in this world, even many fortunate individuals have tasted that flavor. However, in this degenerate age of the five degenerations, especially due to the degenerations of afflictions and views, in this time of strife. On the contrary, from the path of the four reasons, definite understanding does not arise.
