The Verses on Explaining the Training are completed, composed by the great master Nagarjuna. Secondly, it was translated, edited, and finalized by the Indian Abbot Munivarma and the great translator of Zhuchen, Snanam Yeshe De. To the very young and tender branch, you are adorned with the newly blossomed lotus of wisdom. May it be auspicious with the fragrance emanating from the feast of the immaculate Dharma Vinaya nectar! This is also the end of the chapter divisions. Here it is said: Whatever is the source of goodness that pours forth benefits and happiness, the discipline itself, which is the basis of all qualities, and the Pratimoksha that excellently teaches, the Victorious One has spoken of as both the teacher and the teaching. Therefore, this is the path for those who desire liberation, and for those fortunate and noble ones who truly desire it. First, strive in this initial practice, and then enter the ocean of the Vinaya. Representing this, may the accumulation of merit gathered in the three times, fulfill the intentions of the root and lineage lamas, may the upholders of the teachings have stable feet, may the victorious teachings flourish and spread, and may all beings without exception attain Buddhahood together! This was also requested by the venerable attendant of Kyabje Kunzig Gyaltsab Rinpoche, the great-minded Shakya monk Zhingkyong, who has supreme respect for the lama and the teachings. In the Fire Tiger year of the Rabjung, at Dzogchen Yangwen Dechen Tashi Pel, the scribe named Samantadharma Kirti, a Shakya monk, wrote this down, consulting Jamyang Mipham Rinpoche's chapter divisions and the root commentary. May this also fulfill the intentions of the glorious lama and his sons, and may it be a cause for great and lasting benefit to the teachings and beings. Mangalam! May there be auspiciousness! The excellent teachings of the successor of the Victorious Ones, the teacher Nagarjuna, are like a precious golden offering pillar. This arrangement of turquoise inlays of commentary, was opened by the wisdom of Mipham the Hero. Therefore, may the merit of printing this book to fulfill the intentions of Zeuchen Maha Pandita, cause beings to be clothed in the pure garments of the three trainings, and may the fragrance of discipline pervade all directions! This printing dedication prayer was also spoken by Bande Jampal Zangpo as requested.
