In all lifetimes, may we encounter the Dharma of the Buddhas and the profound essence of the Dharma, the Vehicle, and by upholding, preserving, and spreading it, may we swiftly attain the wisdom of omniscience. Therefore, fortunate ones should make this prayer at all times, especially during large gatherings: Homage! To the Sugatas of the ten directions and their sons, especially the incomparable King Shakya, the eight bodhisattvas, and the assembly of noble Arhats, possessors of wisdom and compassion, supreme ones, please consider! The source of benefit and happiness, the precious teachings, the teachers and bodhisattvas, the supreme ones, again and again sought and cherished with difficulty, may the teachings of the Lotus-born King flourish! The incarnations of Khenpo, Lopon, and Dharma King, the lineage of Kama, Terma, and Vidyadharas, the Yidam deities, the Ma, Gon, Star, and planet, the arrogant deities of the three lineages, the assembly of the three roots deities of the Early Translation, please consider! All aspects of the Buddha's teachings, Sutra and Tantra, compassionately brought to the snowy land, from the Vajra commitment to greatly propagate them, may the teachings of the Lotus-born King flourish! The Vajra of body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas of all times and directions, in the magical dance of the three family lords, may the sun of benefit and happiness shine brightly in the snowy land! May the victory banner of complete success in activities be raised high. Lotus-born (Mtsho-skyes), from this day forth, until the end of samsara, may we uphold, maintain, and propagate the entirety of the teachings and the essence of the teachings in realms pervading space. Lotus-born (Mtsho-skyes), in short, through the conduct of the wise, virtuous, and accomplished, may the activity of spreading the Victorious One's teachings pervade space, may the holy holders of the teachings completely fill the earth. Lotus-born (Mtsho-skyes), may the life of the glorious lama be exceedingly stable, may the power of the patrons of the teachings increase, may the jewel banner of undying Dharma and governance be raised. Lotus-born (Mtsho-skyes), may the teachings of the Victorious One flourish! Thus, the essence of all the Victorious Ones, the glorious Buddha Padmasambhava, born in the immortal lake, this teaching of the Victorious Ones known as the Ancient Early Translation, is the foundation of the entirety of the Victorious One's teachings, possessing the characteristics of many profound and essential points, and being the excellent and unerring path that pleases the Victorious Ones, with completely pure view and practice. Having recognized this, like polishing a precious jewel and offering it at the top of a victory banner, may individuals endowed with good fortune spread and expand in all directions through the great activities of teaching, debating, and writing, and may they take on this responsibility. As an auspicious connection for the fulfillment of such wishes, Mipham Jamyang Namgyal Gyatso, with utterly pure devotion to the Nyingma teachings, wrote this at noon in a place, time, and auspicious connection.
