From beginningless time until now, through the virtue I have accumulated and possess in the three times, may I and all other beings attain enlightenment! Until I attain it, in all my lifetimes, having realized the meaning of the profound path, the heart essence of Dzogchen, and having manifestly increased and reached the limit of the nature of reality, may my contaminated aggregates be liberated into a body of light! May the intense suffering of crucial severance not arise, and may the hosts of gurus, yidams, heroes, and ḍākinīs manifestly appear to my eye faculty, bestow empowerment, prophecy, and lead me to Khechara! When impermanence arises and death occurs, when the moving breath ceases and consciousness separates from the corpse, may the appearances of attachment and delusion not arise, and may I abide in the state of the dharmakāya, the nature of reality! When the time comes to relinquish the illusory, substantial body, when the subtle and gross aggregates of appearances and thoughts cease, in the vast, unerring, pervasive, primordial expanse, may I be liberated immediately upon the separation of consciousness from the corpse! When the impure elements dissolve into their respective states, in the state of pure, unmixed five lights, the vajra chain of the five non-conceptual lights, may the indivisible, unified nature of reality be perfected! When great Hūṃs, wrathful ones, and forms of rākṣasas, etc., when the sound of Hūṃ fills the entire three thousand worlds, may I recognize the key point of the empty awareness of the sound of Hūṃ, and realize that sound is empty like an echo! When surrounded by the hosts of Yama's executioners, may delusion be purified into the expanse, without fear or panic, may I see the forms of the peaceful and wrathful yidams! From the great bliss palace of the conch-like blazing light, when the hosts of wrathful ones depart from their abodes, may the meaning of the heart essence of the pith instructions be realized, without the appearance of terrifying forms of rākṣasas! From the precious Citta tent palace, when the hosts of peaceful ones dissolve into the expanse, when appearances revert and arise as a body of light, may awareness dissolve into the realm of light! 愿觉性空性无生解脱于音声中！从秘密处乐护轮之宫殿中，当方便智慧红白于心间相遇时，愿以乐空无漏之境界，风心融入中脉之中！处于法性中阴之状态时，不堕入无记之识，证悟自解脱大清净之义，处于他空法尽之状态！当现见法性实相真谛时，脱离对治忆念修习之心，证悟清净穷尽之义，处于无念离戏之状态！从彩虹五光交织之宫殿中，开启五智之帐篷门，当身与明点充满坛城时，愿与五身五智相遇！于明点空光之光明宫殿中，当与五身五智相遇时，于无有骄慢二取怀疑中，融入普贤王如来原始之状态！真实会见四种心性明灯后，于明点空光之光明宫殿中，究竟稳固于任运脉道，迁识于法界觉性虚空之状态！愿法身空明显灯燃亮！愿获得空性觉性之法身！愿获得无碍二显报身！愿获得自觉圆满化身！获得三身后利益他众！如是临终中阴与法性中阴之祈愿，听闻解脱，全知龙钦饶降巴所造圆满。

May awareness-emptiness, unborn, be liberated into sound! From the palace of the secret place, the wheel of bliss-guarding, When skillful means and wisdom, red and white, meet in the heart, May that state of bliss-emptiness, without outflows, Cause wind and awareness to enter into the central channel! When abiding in the state of the bardo of reality, Without falling into the state of unknowing awareness, Realize the meaning of the great self-liberation of primordial purity, And abide in the state of other-emptiness, the exhaustion of phenomena! When seeing the truth of the reality of phenomena manifest, Freed from the mind of antidote, mindfulness, and meditation, Realize the meaning of exhausting the exhaustion of primordial purity, And abide in the state of non-conceptual, free from elaboration! From the palace of interwoven five-colored rainbows, Having opened the door of the tent of the five wisdoms, When the body and bindus fill the realm, May we meet the five bodies and five wisdoms! In the palace of the luminosity of empty bindus, When meeting the five bodies and five wisdoms, In the absence of pride, dualistic appearance, and doubt, May we dissolve into the primordial state of Kuntuzangpo! Having directly met the four lamps of mind-essence, In the palace of the luminosity of empty bindus, Having perfected stability in the spontaneously accomplished channel, May we transfer into the state of the sky of space-awareness! May the dharmakaya, the empty-clear lamp, blaze! May we attain the dharmakaya of emptiness-awareness! May we attain the sambhogakaya of unceasing dualistic appearance! May we attain the nirmanakaya of perfected self-awareness! Having attained the three kayas, may we benefit others! Thus, the prayer for the dying bardo and the bardo of reality, liberation through hearing, completed by the omniscient Longchen Rabjam.
