May the offering clouds, arising from the conduct of Samantabhadra, fill the ocean and become objects of enjoyment. By reciting this, bless the ground, etc. If desired, also recite the dharani of the clouds of offerings. Then, with one-pointed intention: O Lord who is the protector of all sentient beings without exception, O deity who subdues the hosts of demons and their forces, who knows all things as they are, Bhagavan and retinue, I request you to come to this place. Having requested thus, contemplate that they come and abide as if vividly present. The welcoming, etc., can be done extensively, or offer with the ocean of offerings with eight branches, bathe with the adornment of immortal nectar, serve with the touch of soft divine objects, and request them to abide in the field of merit. After this, the actual prostrations and offerings are: Within a delightful pond, residing like a lotus blooming with the rising sun, with hands joined at the crown, praising with melodies, emanate countless bodies and respectfully prostrate. The Eight Sugatas and the Three Family Lords, etc., the Bhagavan, the great assembly of attendants, with great compassion, especially consider me and all sentient beings of this degenerate age, according to the vows made in the past, manifest the fruit of truth, temporarily pacify diseases, evil spirits, sins, obscurations, faults, and downfalls, etc., all obstacles to the practice of the sacred Dharma, increase life, merit, wealth, faith, diligence, wisdom, etc., all favorable conditions and goodness, may the holders of the teachings live long, may the teachings of explanation and practice flourish, may all beings be happy and increase in well-being, please bless. Even at the end of life, may the Bhagavan and his retinue personally lead me to the pure land, quickly receive the prophecy of the heart of Bodhi, and may you accomplish the two benefits. Thus, make prostrations and recite the appropriate length of dharani, if there is an object of support, then confess and abide as usual, etc., if not, then pray for forgiveness for any faults such as incomplete or missing offerings, and pray that the Bhagavan and his retinue return to their respective pure lands, and come again. By the power of the roots of virtue of myself and others, may the source of benefit and happiness, the teachings, increase, may all sources of suffering be completely abandoned, and may the ocean of existence be quickly dried up. The Eight Sugatas and the sacred Dharma they taught, and the noble Sangha who hold the Dharma, may all the wonderful auspiciousness increase the auspiciousness of the goodness of existence and nirvana! Thus, make dedications, aspirations, and auspicious words as appropriate.
