Offering the Torma to the Local Deity: Offering the Torma to the Local Deity. Offering the Torma to the Local Deity is as follows: ཐམརྒརྒརྒགླ༔ ༔ཨཱོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ༔ In the vast Torma plate, a supreme vessel of jewels, the Torma transformed from the syllable བྷྲཱུྃ་, possessing a hundred flavors, becomes uncontaminated nectar, delicious food, and wish-fulfilling offerings. ཨཱོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ༔ After blessing it three times into nectar. ༔ཧཱུྃ༑ The gods above and the Nagas below, as well as the earth deities, Naga spirits, and all beings, along with the eight classes of gods and demons and their retinues, I invite you to come to this place, I beseech you to grace us with your presence. Please be seated on the lotus seat arranged here. I offer actual and mentally created offerings. I offer outer, inner, and secret offerings. I praise you, who protect the world. Remember the commands and vows of the past, of Shakya King, the Bhagavan Vajrapani, and the Vidyadhara Padma Vajra. Please accept this Torma of command. Enjoy this essence and offering Torma, I pray that you be a companion in practice. Accomplish whatever is in your mind. ཨ་ཡ་མ་དུ་རུ་ཙ་ཤ་ན་ཨི་དམ་བ་ལིཾ་ཏ་པཱུ་ཛ་ཁཱ་ཧི༔ After reciting this, place the Torma in a clean place. Then, offering the Torma to the Obstacles: With a complete effigy and arrow banner, along with changbu (fermented grains), and a butter lamp, do as follows: ༔ཧཱུྃ་བྷྱོ༔ I am the form of Padma Vajra, father and mother, nectar descends from my body and dissolves into the effigy, the effigy substances become an ocean of wisdom nectar. ཨཱོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ is blessed by the seed syllables. After blessing it into wisdom nectar. ༔ན་མོ༔ By the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, and by the power of the truth of the Samadhi deity mantra, may the obstacles that hinder the attainment of enlightenment be involuntarily drawn here. May it become inseparable from this effigy. བིཾགྷྣན་སརྦ་ཨཾ་ཀུ་ཤ་ཛ༔ ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་ཝ་ལོ་ཀི་ཏེ་ཨོཾ་སཾ་བྷཱ་ར་སཾ་བྷཱ་ར་ཧཱུྃ༔ ན་མཿ སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏེ་བྷྱོ་བི་ཤྭ་མུ་ཁེ་བྷྱེ༔ སརྦ་ཐཱ་ཁཾ་ཨུཏྒ་ཏེ་སྥ་ར་ཎ་ཨི་མཾ་ག་ག་ན་ཁཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ༔ ༔ཧཱུྃ༑ Listen, you hosts of misleading obstacles, listen. From past karma and immediate causes, all the hosts of obstacles that have arisen, I offer you the Damtse (sacred substances), effigy Torma, food, and various offerings. I offer butter lamps and changbu as offerings. I offer various effigy arrow banners as offerings. Enjoy this Torma of command, do not interrupt the practice, quickly return to your respective places, you misleading obstacles.

Assembly of obstacles! Return to the place of impartiality and non-attachment! SARVA VIGHNAN UTSA TAYA PHAT (藏文：སརྦ་བིགྷྣཱན་ཨུ་ཙ་ཏ་ཡ་ཕཊ，梵文天城体：सर्वे विघ्नान् उत्सादय，梵文罗马拟音：sarve vighnān utsādaya，literal meaning: Destroy all obstacles). Saying this, cast the obstacle-destroying offering (torma) outside. Drums, conches, and musical instruments resound. Burn a great deal of gugula and meat incense. Scatter mustard seeds. Wave a black silk cloth. PHAT (藏文：ཕཊ，梵文天城体：फट्，梵文罗马拟音：phaṭ，literal meaning: Phat!). Utter wrathful mantras. Although all desired enjoyments are gathered, do not accumulate them; although there are many desirable retinues, do not be attached to them; place the treasury of wisdom, the three trainings, and the pitakas, in the center of the heart of renunciation and reading. This was written by Dzogchen Pandit Karma Ngedon Sungrap Tenpai Gyaltsen in Khading Cave one night. May goodness and prosperity increase! Sarva Mangalam (藏文：སརྦ་མངྒ་ལཾ།།，梵文天城体：सर्व मङ्गलम्，梵文罗马拟音：sarva mangalam，literal meaning: All auspiciousness!).
