It is so. Moreover, to eliminate our own sickness and suffering, to clear away past karmic debts and grudges, to pacify the disturbances of gods and demons, it is effective and greatly beneficial for malignant infectious diseases. In the Zurmang tradition's great practice of one hundred thousand, although there is the root of this practice, the lineages of practice are different, and the ritual text is not clear, so for the sake of immediate need, Bhikshu Rahula Asye compiled it, and if there are any mistakes, I confess to the assembly of Machig Khandro. May this virtue bring great benefit to beings. Auspicious. Even though possessing all the enjoyments one needs, do not accumulate them; even though possessing many desirable retinues, do not be attached to them. Place the Three Trainings and the treasury of wisdom in the center of the heart of renunciation and recitation. This was also written by Karma Ngedon Sungrab Tenpai Gyaltsen, the Dzogchen master, in a secluded time in the Cave of the Dakinis. May goodness increase! Sarva Mangalam! All auspiciousness!) Arranged into a coherent practice the necessary rituals of the Chod practice, the one hundred and eight practices of Chapu.
