This means that she was born from the lotus stamens of the lotus face of the three-world protector, the noble Avalokiteśvara. With great loving compassion, she swiftly accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings. She protects from all fears, possessing unobstructed, courageous power. She knows all phenomena, as they are and as many as they are, in a single instant with her wisdom eyes, which are like lightning. With these excellent qualities of wisdom, compassion, and power, she liberates all sentient beings from samsara. I pay homage to the goddess who has such special activities. The nature of homage is reverence through the three doors of body, speech, and mind, which is to show the abandonment of pride.
