翻译者殊胜之开篇义。 翻译者殊胜之开篇义。 第一部分分为两点:名称之义和翻译之礼敬。第一部分有四点,第一点是翻译名称,印度有四大语言,其中,梵语为Pramana(梵文天城体:प्रमाण,梵文罗马拟音:pramāṇa,汉语字面意思:量),藏语为“ཚད་མ།(量)”,Varatika(梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:)为“རྣམ་འགྲེལ།(释论)”,Karika(梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:)为“ཚིག་ལེའུར་བྱས་པ།(略义)”。

The meaning of the translator's excellent introduction. The meaning of the translator's excellent introduction. The first part has two points: the meaning of the name and the translator's prostration. The first part has four points. The first point is the translation of the name. There are four major languages in India. In Sanskrit, Pramana (प्रमाण, pramāṇa, Measure) is translated as "ཚད་མ། (Measure)" in Tibetan, Varatika (, , ) is translated as "རྣམ་འགྲེལ། (Commentary)", and Karika (, , ) is translated as "ཚིག་ལེའུར་བྱས་པ། (Summary)". The second point is the explanation of the name. "Measure" refers to the object to be explained, which is correct knowledge, and the means of explanation, which is the Compendium of Valid Cognition. Here, it mainly refers to the latter, but it also includes the former, because by explaining the Compendium of Valid Cognition, one can easily understand correct knowledge. Because it is explained in detail, it is a "Commentary." Because it exists in a subsequent praised composition, it is a "Summary." The third point is the reason for naming. "Measure" is named from the object to be explained, "Commentary" is named from the function, and "Summary" is named from the means of explanation. The fourth point is the necessity of naming. There are two necessities for speaking Sanskrit, two necessities for speaking Tibetan, and two necessities for speaking both. These are explained according to the general treatises. The second part is: Homage to the noble Manjushri Kumara. According to the translator's judgment, this is to know that it belongs to the Abhidharma Pitaka, as it is said in the Root Wisdom, establishing the Dharma of ultimate truth as Abhidharma. Similarly, this also establishes the nature of the views of both Sutra and Tantra. If it is said that this explains the common intention of the three baskets, then the translator pays homage to his own chosen deity, the purpose is for the completion of the translation. The meaning of the translator's excellent introduction.
