Like that, in the pure place of the nature of wisdom, a naturally formed cave or bird's nest, or to avoid cold and heat, one should stay alone in a meditation room without companions to practice. Like the upper, middle, and lower monasteries of Karmapa, which have become excellent places for practice, there are also Daklha Gampo, Tsari Trak Yeshe's Wheel, Lachi Chuwor, Mila's Six Dzongs, the King of Gangkar Tise (Mount Kailash), Northern Barom Drak, Eastern Pung Ri, the excellent practice place Dulong, Dza Woti, Shang Rinpoche's Seven Secret Places, Tobong Puk, Damchen Tsora, Mon Sha'uk, Jomo Gangkar, Nyenchen Tanglha, Southern Drowo Lung, etc. In these practice places of our Kagyu lineage, following in the footsteps of previous masters, we have the opportunity to practice in this way, and with joy, day and night without fatigue, we must complete the accumulation of conditions for the growth of practice. Like this, the selection of a mountain for single-pointed practice, and how to build a meditation room there, the facilities for the kitchen, residence, etc., how to obtain food, clothing, etc. in accordance with the Dharma, and how to subdue local deities and landowners, both human and non-human, in accordance with the Dharma. In order to make such interdependent practice free from obstacles, to quickly manifest accomplishments, and not to leak obstacles, those masters who have directly seen the interdependence of the method call it Mountain Dharma. Gyalwa Drikungpa, Karmapa Rangjung Dorje, Gyalwa Yang Gonpa, and the great scholar and accomplished Jamyang Drakpa have all extensively explained this, and one should learn from them and practice the key points of interdependence without error. 85
