如今不想要大果,想要大果不种蔬菜。应当学习不在食物上拿着钵。5 饮食之品: 概括而言,饮食有六种应做之事,咂咂等有五种,谷物有五种不同,舔手等有五种。即不违背世间法和律法而好好地饮食,不要吃太小的食物,不要吃太大的食物,食物要适中,不要在没吃完时张开嘴,应当学习不要口中塞满食物时说话。不要咂咂作声,不要啧啧作声,不要呼呼作声,不要噗噗作声,不要伸出舌头吃东西。不要一粒一粒地吃,不要用舌头舔,不要鼓起腮帮子,不要发出咽口水的声音,不要咬断未吃完的食物。不要舔被食物弄脏的手,不要摇晃钵(49a),不要搓手,不要在钵里抖动食物,应当学习不要把食物做成佛塔的样子来吃。6 使用钵等品类: 概括而言,有嘲笑等四种,关于钵也有十种,站立等有五种,盖头等有五种,发髻等有五种,大象等骑乘有五种,手持手杖等有六种,生病有四种。即不应嘲笑德龙那摩的比丘的钵,不要拿着脏钵,未经施主允许不要倒掉脏水,不要把食物残渣倒在钵里丢弃,用干净的水洗三次钵,用寺院的偈颂来施水。不要放在没有底座的地方,不要放在悬崖边,不要放在倾斜的地方,不要站着洗,不要反着拧,不要放在路口。7 说法之品: 对坐着的人站着说法,对躺着的人坐着说法,不要站在高座上对低处的人说法,不要走在前面而对后面的人说法,不要走在路上而在路边说法,除非是生病。不要蒙着头,不要裹着头,不要歪着头,不要把脖子交叉,不要把后脑勺交叉,除非是生病,否则不要说法。不要梳着发髻,不要戴着帽子,不要戴着发冠,不要戴着念珠,不要包着头,除非是生病(49b),否则不要说法。不要在大象上,不要在马上,不要在轿子上,不要在骑乘的工具上说法。

Now, not wanting great fruit, and wanting great fruit, do not plant vegetables. One should learn not to hold the begging bowl over food. 5. The section on eating food: In summary, there are six things to do well with food, five types such as "tsuk tsuk," five differences in grains, and five things such as licking hands. That is, one should eat food well without contradicting worldly customs and the Vinaya. Do not eat food that is too small, not too large, but food that is moderate. Do not open your mouth without finishing the food. One should learn not to speak with a mouth full of food. Do not eat with "tsuk tsuk" sounds, do not eat with "chak chak" sounds, do not eat with "hu hu" sounds, do not eat with "phu phu" sounds, and do not eat by sticking out the tongue. Do not eat grain by grain. Do not lick with the tongue. Do not puff out the cheeks. Do not make swallowing sounds. Do not break off unfinished food. Do not lick hands soiled with food. Do not shake the begging bowl (49a). Do not rub the hands. Do not shake food in the begging bowl. One should learn not to eat by making the food look like a stupa. 6. The sections on using the begging bowl and so on: In summary, there are four types such as ridicule, ten types regarding the begging bowl, five types such as standing, five types such as covering the head, five types such as wearing a topknot, five types of riding such as elephants, six types such as holding a staff in the hand, and four types of illness. That is, one should not look at the begging bowl of a Drung na mo monk with ridicule. Do not hold a soiled begging bowl. Do not pour out dirty water without asking the benefactor. Do not throw away food scraps by pouring them into the begging bowl. Wash the begging bowl three times with clean water and offer the water as a gift with the verses of the monastery. Do not place it in a place without a base. Do not place it on the edge of a cliff. Do not place it on a sloping place. Do not wash it standing up. Do not wring it out in reverse. Do not place it at a crossroads. 7. The section on teaching the Dharma: Do not teach the Dharma standing to someone who is sitting, or sitting to someone who is lying down. Do not teach the Dharma from a high seat to someone below. Do not teach the Dharma to someone behind while walking in front. Do not teach the Dharma on the side of the road while walking on the road, except when sick. Do not teach the Dharma with the head covered, wrapped, tilted, with the neck crossed, or with the back of the head crossed, except when sick. Do not teach the Dharma with a topknot, hat, diadem, rosary, or head wrapped, except when sick (49b). Do not teach the Dharma on an elephant, horse, palanquin, or riding vehicle.
