Homage to the Immortal Protector, This is the daily yoga: Clinging to self and other, Is not like changing from low to high places, In the equality of samsara and nirvana, in great bliss, In a samadhi like the sky, Residing, visualizing the union. Emaho! The essence of the Three Jewels and Three Roots combined, The Immortal Protector, the nature of self-awareness, The play of self-radiance, the manner of the retinue, Without separation, I take refuge. Transcending dualistic clinging, generate the supreme mind, Increase virtue with the three spheres without focus, Dispel the evil thought of clinging to gods as demons, The pure and vast protective circle is accomplished, The blessings and power of all Buddhas are fully gathered, The clouds of offerings of samsara and nirvana swirl like an ocean. Om Ah Hum. The realm upon which sentient beings rely, The pure, great bliss, unchanging field, The lineage created by the All-Creating King, The mandala of appearances is naturally formed. Om Ah Hum. My body is the support of the great bliss mandala, The support is the Bhagavan Amitabha, The essence is emptiness, the Dharmakaya, The nature is clarity, the complete Sambhogakaya, The skillful display of compassion, the color of power, The face of bindu, the hands of skillful means and wisdom, The union mudra, holding a lapis lazuli, A begging bowl filled with nectar, The two feet of truth in vajra posture, In the lotus moon at the heart center, like the moon in water, With two bodhisattvas on the right and left, The aggregates, elements, sense bases, faculties, etc., The pure abodes, peaceful and wrathful deities, The three seats are complete, like a mirror image, Like the three thousand mustard seeds contained within, The vows and wisdom inseparable, the net of illusion, The secret three vajras of the Buddhas' realm, One's own three doors from the beginning, Not separate, not different, The mind that clings to gods as self, Like the illusion disappears, Like the state of awakening from a dream, The impure six realms of samsara, The hosts of support and supported, Transform into the abode, the light blazing with signs, The nature of the five qualities of body, speech, mind, virtue, and activity, Is naturally accomplished. From the essence of the unelaborated expanse of space, The nature of unceasing, spontaneously accomplished wealth, Compassionate emanation, radiant with light, I bow to the blossoming of the auspicious lotus. The infinite Victorious Ones, beyond thought, The immeasurable glories of body, speech, and mind, All arise from you, like the four empowerments, I prostrate and praise you as the source of benefit and happiness. Through the immeasurable power of offering and praise, May the beings held as self and other, Not follow the deluded external realms, May we see the face of the self-aware, luminous expanse. Having spoken thus, abiding in the unaltered state, The key to carrying the great bliss path in the post-meditation, Therefore, this continuous practice of the nature of reality, the ladder, Of the immortal protector, Was spontaneously written in stone, without beginning, for the attendant Fearless Dharma Name.
