Explanation of the meaning of "Supreme is the One God" Explanation of the meaning of "Supreme is the One God" Explanation of the meaning of "Supreme is the One God" In the commentary on the Vajra Dakini, it says: "Supreme is the One God." Regarding this, it is explained: Because the body is supremely blessed, it is supreme. By making "ཎ" its own suffix, it is made clear, and because wisdom and emanation increase, it is a god. The forms that appear, such as faces and hands, should be known as conventional truth. The so-called "One" is the ultimate truth of the nature of the Dharmadhatu. In this way, the nature of the inseparability of conventional and ultimate truths becomes the guru of all Tathagatas, therefore it should be regarded as the meaning of supreme. It also says: One's own self is only the form of a deity of the nature of Bodhi, inseparable from emptiness and compassion, which should be perfectly accomplished. This is its meaning. Therefore, it is taught to meditate on the form of the deity with the mind of Bodhi as the forerunner. It also says: The so-called "by this" refers to the mudra just mentioned. Whoever has the same union with conventional mudras such as hands and faces is called "that." What should the yogi do? It means that the entire three realms should be devoured, meaning that ordinary forms such as the body should be transformed. In order to show that Bodhi cannot be attained in any way through meditation on emptiness alone, "other" etc. are spoken of. The so-called "other" refers to emptiness alone. The so-called "incomplete union" is beyond appearance. The so-called "transcendence" is to transcend suffering without even the meaning of self. Like what? Like a lamp. Just as a lamp clearly burns in the sky with the continuation of oil, when the continuation of oil is exhausted, at that time, it immediately runs out and goes out. Since one's own self does not appear, what need is there to make others appear? Similarly, one should also observe the samadhi of emptiness alone. Or, in an instant, one should meditate on the summit of Mount Meru, in a house piled with vajra jewels, through the sequence of visualizing oneself as Bhagavan Vajrasattva. Why?

So, is it naturally accomplished? Or is it not? Here, these are the appearances of each mind being completely pure, and should be accomplished like extracting butter from milk, but not accomplished like extracting butter from water, it will not be accomplished. Just as purifying the turbidity of water with a jewel, one should first tame oneself through the generation stage and then perfect it, because it is naturally pure. Otherwise, even if one does not tame oneself, it is still samsara, so one cannot manifest the fruit of purity, and it is not because being naturally impure is contrary to the Dharma. Because cause and effect are in accordance with each other, one should accomplish purity with purity. This should be understood from the oral instructions. Being in accordance is also following, if the cause is also in accordance with being regarded as the effect, then the seed of rice will surely be produced from the sprout of rice without doubt. Otherwise, the sprout of barnyard millet cannot have the ability like the seed of rice. If the effect is also in accordance with being regarded as the cause, then it will arise, otherwise, those will become too excessive. In this way, like the virtue of milk being white, those established forms, through repeated familiarization, dispel the sudden stains, and it should be understood that the original nature becomes clear. Swasti! May the lotus garden of the Victorious One's teachings, which possesses the fragrance of benefit and happiness, possess the essence of liberation honey with blossoming petals of explanation and practice. For the benefit of all beings, from Dege Lhundrub Teng (Dege County, Sichuan Province), this great monastery propagates this Dharma giving. Sarva Mangalam! (Tibetan: སརྦ་མངྒ་ལཾ།,Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व मङ्गलम्,Sanskrit Romanization: Sarva maṅgalam, Literal Chinese meaning: All auspiciousness!) This is an explanation of the meaning of "The supreme one is the only god."
