Please look upon me with compassion! May the bodhisattvas like you bless me! Being ignorant of the principles of acceptance and rejection of samsara and nirvana, Always craving for the face of a distracting lover, When engaging in inverted actions day and night, I pray, may the noble ones look upon me with compassion! May the bodhisattvas like you bless me! The beauty of youth is destroyed by the war of years, The tree of life is felled by the axe of Yama, When the lifeblood of liberation becomes fragile, I pray, may the noble ones look upon me with compassion! May the bodhisattvas like you bless me! The youthful steps of the six perfections falter, The age of hearing, thinking, and meditating greatly diminishes, When indulging in meaningless labor, I pray, may the noble ones look upon me with compassion! May the bodhisattvas like you bless me! The face of the five wisdoms is obscured by the five poisons, The guide to seeing self-arisen wisdom is lost, When karma and habitual tendencies are enveloped in darkness, I pray, may the noble ones look upon me with compassion! May the bodhisattvas like you bless me! The pervasive conditioned existence is tormented by suffering, Every childish being's body, When the great ocean of the fruits of evil deeds bursts forth, I pray, may the noble ones look upon me with compassion! May the bodhisattvas like you bless me! Having developed wisdom in aspiration and entering bodhicitta, Perfecting the qualities of the ten bhumis and five paths, Having attained the position of the ten powers, May I become a guide leading beings! Whoever hears the excellent teachings from me, Or even those connected by seeing, hearing, remembering, touching, or speaking, May they be liberated from the uninterrupted karma, closing the door to the lower realms, May they be born in the pure land of Potala!
