The Victorious Shakyamuni, the sun, is the lamp of this world of endurance, who subdues Jambudvipa with emanations, I take refuge in you from the bottom of my heart. Your body is the dual combination of awareness and liberation, your speech is the Dharma of cessation and path, the two truths, your mind is the face of the Lama Dharmakaya, the nature of the mandala sea, with the seven pure limbs and water offerings, I offer body and possessions without hesitation. No matter what other powers appear due to karma, you know and firmly hold the vows. Just seeing your face, that involuntary devotion and reverence, is the essence of the vase empowerment. May the obscurations of the body be purified, and may the blessings of the Vajra Body be obtained right now. Your speech, from the self-nature of sound and words, the transcendent secret supreme empowerment, at the moment of entering my speech, grant the actual accomplishment of the Vajra Speech. The mind is profound, peaceful, and free from elaboration, the great bliss, enlightenment, and wisdom empowerment, merged with my eight consciousness aggregates, grant the Vajra Mind. From the Victorious One's hair follicle, the supreme empowerment of great light rays, may the obscurations of knowledge be completely removed, and may the ground of all-pervading light be attained. It is okay to slander or scold me, but for the nature of sentient parents, with the compassion of repaying kindness, may samsara be uprooted from its depths. This is what the faithful disciple Dharmakirti urged when accumulating prayers in front of Jowo Shakyamuni. The sprout of the Victorious One was planted by the god of Khyentse.
