May the victory banner of the three trainings, like a tree rooted in the earth, following the discipline of the Arhats, rise without decline. Now, in this time afflicted by the five degenerations, When it is difficult to tame beings with paths of conceptualization and provisional meaning, May you increase the qualities and the two aspects of bodhicitta of the great vessel of definitive meaning bodhicitta. Especially, may you accomplish the activities of spreading the Vajrayana, like a magical illusion, And the ripening and liberation of the ocean of Vajrayana. May you accomplish the activities of spreading the supreme pinnacle of the noble path, the definitive secret vehicle, everywhere. To the teachings spoken in accordance with the disposition, power, and thoughts of beings to be tamed by the Victorious Ones, Those who are completely entangled by the demons of partiality and jealousy, And those who drink the heart's blood of oath-breaking spirits with perverse aspirations, Whatever power they may possess, all sentient beings, Bear a burden heavy as a venomous snake in their minds. If they set out to destroy the benefit and happiness of the teachings and beings, Protect them, or you will break your oath. May the political power of those who hold wrong views and the hordes of barbarians, And the petty kingdoms that denigrate the authority of the Three Jewels, Fall to the earth like a shooting star, Be destroyed in an instant, and secretly extract their life essence. Shorten the lifespan of the evil spirits of sudden darkness who do not see the mandala of offering and praise, And who violate the vows of the Second Buddha (Padmasambhava), And the violent spirits of the Chinese lands who act rudely. For the sake of those who have great learning, the qualities of scripture, And the noble ones who are liberated from their own continuum through realization, So that they may be the pillars of the teachings, Increase their lifespan and activities like the waxing moon. For those who remain at home but have faith in the correct view, And who regard the Three Jewels as their lama, Because they are the beings to be tamed by the Great Vehicle, Protect them without negligence. May you increase the abundance of the foundation of Dharma and politics. Protect them from thieves and harm on the roads in foreign lands. And also, with the activity of accomplishing wishes as desired, Grant auspiciousness so that the two accumulations may ripen into fruit.
