Verse Collection, Chapter Fifty-Eight: A discussion arising from the Holy Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, The Mirror of Suchness. Verse Collection, Chapter Fifty-Eight: A discussion arising from the Holy Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, The Mirror of Suchness. A discussion arising from the Holy Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, called The Mirror of Suchness. A discussion arising from the essence of the Holy Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, called The Mirror of Suchness. Homage to the Fully Enlightened Buddha! From the Holy Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom Sutra: "How does one individually contemplate? In the nature of reality, there exists the self-nature of the nature of reality." Without properly following and seeing, without being distracted in this way, one should individually contemplate the continuum of the mind. The meaning of this is: In general, in the lower philosophical schools, the term "individual contemplation" is also applied to conditioned cognitions that possess consciousness and are amenable to analysis. However, in this context of teaching the three doors of liberation, although relying on words, one does not rely on meaning, i.e., the discriminating consciousness, or the wisdom that is free from conceptual elaboration, is indicated by the term "individual contemplation," which in essence is the name of the wisdom of meditation. Why? "In the nature of reality" indicates that the nature of reality is the pure speech of ultimate truth. "The self-nature of the nature of reality exists" indicates that one does not properly follow and see, and self-nature is established as the name of the essence. Therefore, for the reason that things exist in this way, and as a term for dispelling the defilement of wisdom, it is shown as not properly following and seeing. Not seeing in this way is the sacred nature of reality seen with the Dharma eye free from dust. Therefore, the mindfulness that is not distracted from its continuum, or the continuous stream of the mind, is the actual truth of the noble ones, and therefore individually contemplating this meaning is the meaning of meditating with complete knowledge of self-nature. Thus, Lord Maitreya also said: "If there is no discriminating consciousness, there is no real thing. May I realize the Dharma of emptiness!" This is clear. Similarly, continuing from the previous passage, "The nature of reality is also not properly followed and seen, therefore the true limit is not directly realized." The meaning of this is: In the path of the Hearers, the one-sided peace that is obstructed by the two, cause of origin and result of suffering, and the two, selflessness of person and selflessness of phenomena.

is the limit of suchness, and in its own nature, it reaches the ultimate fruition. If measured by the path of a Bodhisattva, it is a temporary result with unbearable cognitive obscurations. As it is said in the *Entering the Middle Way* [Madhyamakāvatāra]: "The Hearers and the Intermediate Buddhas are born from the Powerful One." Here, the enlightenment of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers is referred to as the Intermediate Buddha. Not directly realizing its true limit is like the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, who do not pass into Nirvana in one aspect of peace. It is called possessing all supreme aspects, being beyond conception, and cannot be exemplified by words and examples, thus abandoning the truth of the path. The knowable, born from mind and Dharma, is inconceivable and becomes the basis of the three bodies of the Buddha, which is the great

Because they did not go. Furthermore, the so-called skillful means of the Bodhisattvas refers to the five perfections and the conventional Bodhicitta itself. Therefore, Shantideva (Śāntarakṣita) also said: All these limbs, the Buddha taught as the meaning of wisdom. This is clear. In the Great Commentary of Simhabhadra, it says: Without investigation, there is a possibility of error. By constantly abiding in equanimity, seeing the nature, there is no possibility of error. If there is an error, confess to the perfectly complete Buddha. If there is no error, dedicate the roots of virtue to all. This was also written by Jigme Lingpa based on the oral instructions of Gön Tse Tulku. The Fifty-eighth Chapter of the Collection of Discourses is complete. The Fifty-eighth Chapter of the Collection of Discourses, a mirror of suchness, derived from the Noble Hundred Thousand Verses.
