《The Small Treatise of Shawari and its Commentary》 《The Small Treatise of Shawari and its Commentary》 Sanskrit: Yoga Shat Anga Nama. Homage to glorious Vajrasattva! Separately cutting and meditation, / Breath control likewise holding, / Subsequent remembrance and samadhi, / Are taught as the six limbs of yoga. The unwavering one possesses three qualities, / When the ten winds enter the central channel, / External and internal thoughts cease, signs arise, / This is the limb of separate cutting. When the signs are seen to be stable, / Wisdom, analysis, joy, and bliss, / Single-pointed, unwavering, without thought, / This is the limb of meditation. When the ten winds enter the central channel, / Within the bindu of the four chakras, / The wind itself moves back and forth, / This is the limb of breath control. When the life wind enters the bindu, / Wind and mind abide in the great bliss chakra, / Holding onto the bindu of Hum, / This is the limb of holding. By the power of wind and mind abiding in the bindu, / The light of the fierce fire appears, / Extraordinary bliss and warmth arise, / This is the limb of subsequent remembrance. When the ten signs are completely perfected, / The appearance of the great bindu arises, / Within the various great bindus, / Lines of black streaks appear. Within it, beings of the six realms and so forth, / Extremely subtle emanations, / And numerous enjoyment bodies are seen, / Various images of clear light appear. When the mind dissolves into this, / The limb of samadhi is perfected. 《The Treatise on the Six Limbs of Yoga》, spoken by the glorious Shawaripa, transmitted to Pandit Mahabhuta Candra. The translator translated it from Sanskrit and transmitted it to Lopa Tshul. The end. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
