Even though sandalwood is not visible, the gentle wind, Blows from the piercing direction, thus it is known. The words that are temporarily nourished and grown by time, Are symbolized by this letter, the wide lotus. 2. Wherever the meaning of the noble and wise is consistent, Repeatedly praised, the power of speech that should be accomplished. Only your discriminating light, here, When dispelling the thick darkness of debate, is heard daily. 3. Therefore, like the light born from the fire offering, Like the flourishing arrival of the white lotus garden, Even with just words, giving unprecedented joy, What in the world can compare to the biography of a holy one? 4. Here, with the two extremes of knowledge and knowable, By the kindness of the untouchable Gentle Protector Lama, Even the humble one who constantly breathes, Leisurely plays in the pond of the meditative lotus. 5. Again, may the tree of a hundred thousand accumulations of merit, Live long, laden with pure white fruits, With the sweet nectar of eloquent speech that alleviates the suffering of the mind, Bestow the beauty of pure youth. 6. Thus, the moon nourished by the nectar of eight sentiments, Resting at the peak of the source of bliss of discerning wisdom, With meaningful and sweet words, in the guise of appearance, now, Proceeds to the presence of the wise and immortal. 7.
