Om. With the loving compassion of youthful Manjushri, You manifested in the form of one holding the liberated ochre robes. To the lord of Dharma, possessing the glory of wisdom, discipline, and excellence, I pray to that one whose kindness is unmatched. Through the power of praying to the lineage of noble preceptors Of the Vinaya Pitaka, which speaks so well of discipline, May I and others, in all our lives, Obtain the precious human body with leisure and endowment, so difficult to find. There, may we arouse our minds with unfeigned, intense renunciation, And with pure desire, conviction, and faith, May we attend upon a spiritual friend who is stable, wise, and complete with qualities, With the lotus of the crown of our heads touching the dust of their feet. May we possess all the conducive conditions, free from the five opposing conditions, And having received the two earlier sets of precepts, May we drink the nectar that prevents carelessness With the ten aspects of manifest realization. May we abandon defeat, remaining, and confession of downfalls, And having abandoned all concordant misdeeds and precepts, May we enjoy the glory of the three-part ritual By purifying the way of learning the Dharma.
