The Twenty-eighth Vow. The Twenty-eighth Vow. The Twenty-eighth Vow is complete. Om. Yogisvara, perfect in wisdom, Benefiting beings, controlling with compassion, Becoming the sole friend of the three realms, God of gods, please listen to me. I pray to the ocean of emanations of the Sugatas, The great assembly of yogisvara siddhas, Gods and non-gods, mantra holders with vows, And all those gathered, please listen as well. I am not practicing for the sake of kingship, heavenly enjoyment, and The qualities of desire, But only striving for the benefit of beings with compassion. For this, I beseech you, the all-knowing one, to take control. Protector, you possess unobstructed wisdom, You know my innermost thoughts. As I have vowed before the supreme one, I will not break it, I will not deceive you. From the depths of my heart, for profit and fame, etc., Deceit and confusion, I will forever abandon in my mind, Only with the intention of accomplishing the benefit of others, I make this vow, I will practice the great yogic conduct. For the sake of the all-pervading, excellent, and unsurpassed Bodhi, I have generated the supreme mind, The ultimate and conventional bodhicitta, From today onwards, I will properly uphold them. Even if all sentient beings become demons, And my body is cut into a thousand pieces, Bodhicitta, supreme wisdom, compassion, And the yidam, the Buddhas, I will never abandon. All the great vajra vows, The vajra guru, vajra brothers and sisters, And those who have entered the supreme vehicle, I will not abandon them even for my life, I will protect them as much as I can. In the nature of samsara, which is selfless and illusory, I have no fear whatsoever, For the sake of ignorant beings, I am willing to remain until the very end. When practicing for the benefit of others in samsara, I will practice the great bodhisattva conduct. In order to benefit the six types of sentient beings, I will take birth at my own will. I have no joy in the world that is completely taken care of, Nor in peaceful nirvana, Wherever there are places of suffering, I will abide for oceans of kalpas and benefit beings. 直至恶道完全空尽时，我决不生起厌倦之心。以智慧方便成办众生之事，因慈悲的受用胜过一切。心识所及地狱饿鬼阎罗界，亦如天界的乐园般看待。以慈爱之心为众生，于光辉之歌中如是说。瑜伽士殊胜甘露妙法等，我于世间未尽之际，将如所应分地弘扬光大。于轮回中受业与缘分所支配，无论于何处正法衰败之际，纵然需跨越火堆利刃之锋，直至究竟边际亦将护持正法。于无上菩提发起殊胜之心，对于进入殊胜修持之士，生生世世以所有力量，恒常满足诸位大士之心愿。对于圣法与修持之障碍，无论人与非人任何恶毒之辈，我将以息增怀诛之事业，完全平息并彻底摧毁。依凭瑜伽士殊胜无上大乘，以及金刚之王您，为令佛土圆满利益众生，我将证悟菩提心之精髓。我乃殊胜手印之化身，若遇无法避免之死亡时刻，我将前往密咒怙主智慧坛城，您的足下。三有之苦您皆知晓，平息地狱等处之火焰等，为利有情我速疾前往，祈请诸位圣者赐予力量。善哉！第二十八条誓言。

Until the evil realms are completely emptied, I shall not give rise to a mind of weariness. Accomplishing the benefit of beings through wisdom and skillful means, because the enjoyment of compassion surpasses all else. Even the realms of hell, hungry ghosts, and Yama, which are within the scope of consciousness, I shall regard as being like the joyful gardens of the gods. With loving-kindness for beings, it is said in the glorious song. The supreme nectar of the yogi's sacred Dharma, etc., until the end of this world, I shall spread and expand as is fitting. In samsara, being under the power of karma and conditions, wherever the sacred Dharma declines, even if it is necessary to cross over piles of fire and the edge of sharp razors, I shall uphold the sacred Dharma until the ultimate end. Generating the supreme mind of unsurpassed Bodhi, for those who enter into supreme practice, in all lifetimes, with whatever power and strength I possess, I shall constantly fulfill the wishes of the great beings. Whatever malicious beings, human or non-human, become obstacles to the sacred Dharma and practice, I shall completely pacify and utterly destroy them through the activities of pacifying and wrathful deeds. Relying on the supreme, unsurpassed Great Vehicle of the supreme yogi, and on you, Vajra King, in order to perfect the Buddha-field and benefit beings, I shall realize the essence of the Bodhi-mind. I am the manifestation of the supreme Mudra, if an unavoidable time of death should occur, I shall go to the wisdom mandala of the protector of secret mantras, at your feet. You know all the sufferings of the three realms, pacifying the flames of hell and so forth, if I quickly go to benefit sentient beings, I pray that the holy ones bestow their power. Good!
