May I wear the faded saffron robes. May I rely on medicine that has already been used by others. The four defeats and the thirteen remainders. The thirty relinquishment offenses and the ninety individual offenses. The four confessions and the one hundred and twelve misdeeds. May I protect them properly with steadfast mindfulness. Others approach with anger and weapons, etc. To all harms such as insults and exposing shortcomings. With steadfast mindfulness and awareness, rely well on the antidotes. May I always wear the armor of patience. To the Khenpo, Acharya, and virtuous friend, have supreme faith. To those who practice like Brahma, have utmost respect. Thoroughly study the Tripitaka teachings and the three trainings. May I enrich my own mind-stream with realization. With the wind of harmonious mindfulness, the ship of discipline. Sailing to the precious island of higher realms, obtaining the treasure of liberation. Having fully erected the banner of altruism at the summit. May I satisfy all beings with the desires of benefit and happiness. A prayer to the lineage lamas of the Nyingma school's three vows.
