To the Medicine Buddha, I pray. Please grant me and all limitless sentient beings supreme and common attainments. After praising and supplicating in this way, recite: Om Vajra Mus Shega Svaha (藏文,梵文:Om Vajra Mus Shega Svaha,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra muś śega svāhā,Literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Mus, Gone, Svaha). Visualize the retinue and seat dissolving into light and merging into oneself. Visualize the three places (body, speech, and mind) of oneself being marked by Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,Literal meaning: Om), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,Literal meaning: Ah), and Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hum). Through this virtue, may I quickly attain the Medicine Buddha. And so forth, dedicate and make aspirations. If engaging in practice, one should abide in bathing and cleanliness, reciting the short mantra one million times, including making up for any deficiencies. During session breaks, perform prostrations and offerings, either extensively or concisely as appropriate, or read the large or small Medicine Sutra according to one's ability. This was written for the sake of convenience by the learned renunciate Manjushrikirti. May this virtue become the cause of benefit and happiness for all beings. Mangalam! Mangalam! Medicine Buddha Practice and Recitation, Extremely Concise: A Swift Path to Benefit and Happiness.
