The Quintessential Instructions on the Wisdom Bindu, the Path of Perfect Liberation The Quintessential Instructions on the Wisdom Bindu, the Path of Perfect Liberation The Quintessential Instructions on the Wisdom Bindu, the Path of Perfect Liberation Concludes. Namo Guru Shri Herukaya. These quintessential instructions on the Wisdom Bindu of Glorious Yangdak, the ultimate path to liberation, composed by the great accomplished master Dorje Humkara, will be explained in three parts: the meaning of the introduction, the meaning of the main text, and the meaning of the conclusion. The first part has two aspects: stating the title and expressing homage. The first is: In Sanskrit: Jnana Bindu Upadesha. In Tibetan: The Quintessential Instructions on the Wisdom Bindu. The second is: Homage to Glorious Vajrasattva. The second part, the meaning of the main text, has two aspects: the root sutra to be explained and the quintessential instructions on the meaning to be explained. The first is: The perfect accomplishment is the only one, the Buddha, great bliss, all-encompassing, profound yoga, the three kayas complete, the dakini, illusion, supreme bliss, bliss. The second part, presenting the quintessential instructions on the meaning to be explained, has three aspects: brief presentation, detailed explanation, and summarizing the meaning. The first is: The ultimate wisdom bindu is great, the scripture that establishes direct perception, the essence of definitive quintessential instructions is divided into view, meditation, conduct, and result. The second part, the detailed explanation, has four aspects: the view of suchness, experiencing meditation, combining conduct, and the way of the ultimate result. The first is: The true nature of reality, from the very beginning, is the nature of being solely self-established, being everything and yet nothing, awareness, pervasive essence, the life of all Buddhas and sentient beings, self-appearance, perfectly pure, great bliss, abiding as the basis of all-encompassing intention, nothing obstructed, appearing as anything, spontaneously arising wisdom dissolving into essence, all extremes without abandonment or separation, spontaneously accomplished wisdom abiding in its own place, the suchness of all Buddhas. The second is: The yogi who sees in this way leaves the mind uncorrected, letting it rest naturally. The senses are not blocked, letting them rest in their own clarity. Forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and so on, whatever is seen, whatever appears, is left naturally and equally in that very state. Nothing is blocked or grasped, resting in the confidence of equal awareness. By contemplating and familiarizing oneself with this, like adding dry firewood to a blazing fire, whatever phenomena appear, they become a condition for that very wisdom. With a net

Without meditating, rest in whatever is comfortable. Likewise, having gained mastery over the mind, Do not meditate solely on one aspect; Practice the great power of yogic awareness On myriad concentrations. Profound is the great realm of the Buddhas' activity. Awareness, without beginning or end, Arises as the very pouring forth of great bliss. Like brandishing a spear in the expanse of the sky, Awareness exerts self-control over itself. Thus, this is the supreme meditation of great confidence. Third: The yogi who has realized this, Engages in conduct without acceptance or rejection. Nothing is abandoned whatsoever, And nothing is deliberately accomplished. Conduct is unceasing, free from acceptance and rejection. The unborn is the Dharmakaya, The unceasing arising is the Sambhogakaya, Freedom from dualistic grasping is the Nirmanakaya. The conduct of perfecting the three kayas is accomplished. Fourth: Without practice, self-nature is perfected as the result. Without taking, siddhis arise spontaneously. Without traversing, the bhumis and paths are spontaneously traversed. Without seeking, in the sky of the Dharmakaya, The Rupakaya moves by the power of wisdom. Like a mirage, benefiting others appears. Attaining the state of great bliss, bliss supreme. Third, summarizing the meaning: In short, seeing and becoming accustomed to this, Acting with confidence and attaining the result, All these ways, without wavering from the sole self-awareness, Is the supreme samaya. Third, the concluding meaning has two parts: The deed of completing the composition, And the conclusion with the translator's colophon. First: By this virtuous deed, may all beings Manifest perfect wisdom! Second: This was completed by the great Indian master Dorje Hungkara (Vajra Humkara). The Pandit himself and the Tibetan translator Gnu Namkhai Nyingpo translated it at Serdzak Jakyibchen (Golden Cliff Vulture Nest), and offered it to the sovereign Tsenpo, thereby establishing a position unmoving from the meaning of true wisdom. May there be auspiciousness! The quintessential instruction of the glorious, true path of liberation, the Bindu of Wisdom.
