A Speech Praising the Supreme Group of Scholars and Accomplished Ones - The Lunar Vine. A Speech Praising the Supreme Group of Scholars and Accomplished Ones - The Lunar Vine. Named A Speech Praising the Supreme Group of Scholars and Accomplished Ones - The Lunar Vine. From lips as elegant as a Kakubha (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning), to beings dwelling amidst the accumulated snow dust, the sacred Dharma that benefits them in that harsh land, grant it as an antidote to my clinging to self. 1 Though free from the waves of clamor, the stream of the two truths continues, a mere representation of the well-spoken rain, the supreme path unmatched by tea and chang, following the fullness of the lunar month. 2 A secluded place surrounded by strings of Tula flowers, in that forest free from various distractions, now firmly holding the vow to practice diligently, I shall not transgress from Nama-las (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning) and Madhi-las (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning). 3 Like the new shoots of Palasha branches, and the lotus groves that adorn the opposite shore, like the supreme wish-fulfilling Kalashi, utterly elegant with the supreme, untainted discipline. 4 Because of the nature of phenomena that change in an instant, enduring the burden of heat and cold, and the vow to practice, and the pure intention to benefit the teachings of Jaya (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning), though wandering everywhere like a fox, I will never abandon them. 5 Having tied a silk scarf around the head, even the wealthy adorned in brocade robes, when struck by the messengers of clamorous diseases, because the suffering of Yamantaka (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning) is utterly terrifying. 6 Like the joining of fine threads of Ramayana (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning), the heart that liberates all beings in the land of snows, is not attainable by meat-eaters and blood-drinkers, it has been sown in the realm of the irreversible tenth ground. 7 If scholars and accomplished ones like you were to fill this land known as Jambudvipa (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning), alas, in this degenerate age, I am saddened by the lack of such fortune. 8 However, your qualities, the white lotus, with the fingers of the newly praised moon crystal, grasping and tying it to the topknot of faith, I too am thus greatly fortunate. 9 Sarva Jayanta (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning)! Auspicious! A speech praising the great and supreme one who is skilled in the five sciences - A Necklace of White Lotuses. Like Kanaka (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning), with the brilliance of wisdom, bestowing upon beings surrounded by snowy mountains, the supreme and excellent Dharma, thereby pacifying the suffering of my clinging to self. 1 The profound Dharma of cessation, free from clamor, the corresponding path of truth, the three baskets.

The meaning of the four aspects. Like a red flower, possessing the white light of liberation, Like the full moon, bestowing the supreme and wonderful path. 2 Well-spoken by the Tathagata, the inner and outer Dharma, Adorned by the youthfulness of unmixed wisdom, Now, other than Manjushri Kumara, Who can compare to you? 3 Like the rising sun, the eightfold noble path, By connecting the minds of all beings on the other shore, Transforming the sufferings of disease like lotuses, Completely subduing them, placing them in the realm of benefit and happiness. 4 Like a foundation where flocks of chakora birds gather like clouds, Like a lotus born from the rays of the sun, The light of Jaya's (Sanskrit: Jaya, Victory) teachings, the science of grammar, Realizing with the power of wisdom, not wandering like a fox. 5 With the dance of un-stiffened fingers, Like coral, a treasure of perfect qualities, Creating the three secrets, the basis of our offerings, Not just a small part, but knowing all. 6 Like Rahula, not stained by the dust of delusion, Not just a little, but with the power to measure all Dharmas, Like the thin arrow held by Shabari, Piercing the heart of the inverted thoughts of the three realms. 7 Like sandalwood emitting the fragrance of Harichandan, Like the form of the five sciences, the supreme path of liberation, Like Adana, in your wisdom, Appearing all at once, who can grasp its limit? 8 Thus well-spoken, the sixteen parts of the vehicle, Always in the heart, with the light of a resting smile, Making the common path of knowledge, the white lotus garden, Bloom, this is a letter of praise to that supreme one. 9 Sarva Samanta Shubham (藏文:སརྦ་ས་མནྟ་ཤུ་བྷཾ།,梵文天城体:सर्वसमन्तशुभं,梵文罗马拟音:sarva samanta śubhaṃ,汉语字面意思:一切普遍吉祥).
