May the virtues of the four divisions, by the light of the eternal, sacred vajra, completely eliminate the darkness in the crevices of the mind, and by the abundance of the lotus of existence and peace, which is rich with the fruits of the ten powers, completely fulfill all purposes. 1. With the playful grace of the noble Mañjuśrī Kumāra, and the blessings of the goddess Sarasvatī in his speech, may he see all aspects of inner and outer knowledge without any obscuration, and may he be unrivaled by any peer in the world. 2. May the immortal protector empower you with nectar, and may the victorious goddess subdue all opposing forces. May the wish-fulfilling wheel accomplish wondrous deeds, and may auspiciousness always be with you! May I also live long and accomplish both aims. May the supreme Dharma King also have a long life and a prosperous reign. May all realms of the world be filled with happiness and splendor. May the auspiciousness of the ocean of the three roots protect you! These are the verses of longevity composed for us by a certain noble king with golden ornaments.
