Your body adorned with countless auspicious virtues, Your speech skilled in showering the rain of scripture and realization, Your mind possessing the wisdom to see all that is and all that could be, To the glorious Phakpa, the Elephant of the Directions, we pray for long life. 1 Arising from the ocean of listening, contemplation, and meditation, Possessing a web of a thousand lights of explanation, debate, and composition, Illuminating the three realms with wisdom, love, and power, To Jamyang, the Sun of Eloquence, we offer our prayers. 2 Through the blessings of praying in this way, May the upholders of the teachings have long lives, and may the teachings spread in the ten directions. May all beings be endowed with the wealth of the four assemblies and the ten virtues, And may there be auspiciousness for the increase of benefit, happiness, and goodness. This prayer was offered by the Dharma-speaking monk Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo on the occasion of the enthronement of Jamyang Chokyi Gyalpo himself on the Dharma throne of glorious Lhundrup.
