The sun of the teachings, supremely shining forth, The single great source of profound and vast Dharma, I supplicate the great lord who pervades a hundred families. 1 Protector, although you have always attained supreme liberation, In order to guide the beings to be tamed in this realm, With the wondrous and supreme dance of emanations, I supplicate you to increase the auspiciousness of samsara and nirvana. 2 In the medicinal garden of the vows of individual liberation, The vines of the two jewels of bodhicitta grow, Adorned with the fruits of the great secret ripening liberation, I supplicate you, the holder of the three-fold vajra. 3 Having listened to all the outer and inner sciences, And examined them with the three measures of thought, With the appearance of meditating on the good path in one lifetime, I supplicate you, who directly sees the definitive meaning. 4 Speaking steals the minds of hundreds of intelligent beings, Debating crushes the pride of all opponents, Writing is the single ornament that beautifies the teachings of the Sage, I supplicate you, the master of eloquent writing. 5 Reading, hearing, and thinking, the wheel tames the mindstream, Renunciation and meditation are especially pleasing with nectar, With the wheel of activity of vast deeds, I supplicate you to increase the benefit and happiness of the teachings and beings. 6 Boundless wisdom, Manjushri, and, The great compassion, Avalokiteshvara, holding a white lotus, The very form of the supreme power, the Lord of Secrets, I supplicate you, the embodiment of the three families. 7 In short, the lama, the three jewels, the yidam deity, The heroes, dakinis, dharma protectors, and wealth deities, Since I do not look to anyone other than you for refuge, Therefore, from the depths of my heart, I supplicate with intense longing. 8 Having supplicated in this way with respect, May the aspirations and prayers of the victorious ones and their sons, May the supreme holders of the teachings remain steadfast for hundreds of kalpas, May the teachings of explanation and practice flourish, grant your blessings. 9 May I and all limitless beings

May all beings, from this moment until the essence of enlightenment, Be continuously guided by the glorious Lama, and may their minds and hearts be blessed to merge as one. 10. May faith, renunciation, and Bodhicitta arise from the depths of their hearts, And may they perfectly maintain the vows they have undertaken. 11. Through the three practices of listening, contemplation, and meditation on the Victorious One's teachings, May they accomplish the benefit of both themselves and others. May they be blessed. 11. Ultimately, may they attain the secret three doors of the all-pervading Lord Lama, And realize the indivisible union, the wisdom body. May the prayers of all the Victorious Ones and their children of the ten directions and three times, Be completely fulfilled. May they be blessed. 12. May the auspiciousness of the Lama and the Three Jewels, The compassionate moonlight and nectar-like rays, Pacify all the downfalls of existence and peace, And may the feast of benefit and happiness greatly increase. 13. Thus, this short verse of supplication and aspiration, related to the liberation of the all-pervading, glorious Lama, the complete Buddha, the great Pal Taglungpa, Ngawang Tenzin Nima Chökyi Jungne Trinle Nampar Gyalwai De, whose name is supremely high in existence and peace, was requested with precious flowers by the incomparable lamp of the teachings, the supreme incarnation, Ngawang Drakpa Yongkhyab Gelek Rabgye Jangchub Nyugu Palsangpo. In accordance with this, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, the hermit, offered this prayer as it arose. May the virtue of this cause the blessings of the all-pervading Lama's wisdom gaze to quickly enter the minds of all beings, self and others. Sarva dā kalyāṇaṃ bhava tu (藏文，梵文天城体：सर्वदा कल्याणं भवतु，梵文罗马拟音：sarvadā kalyāṇaṃ bhavatu，汉语字面意思：愿一切时吉祥). The supplication and aspiration to the all-pervading, glorious Lama, the complete Buddha, Ngawang Tenzin Nima, the lamp that causes the white lotus of blessings to bloom.
