This is the Concise Supplication to the Twenty-Five Disciples of Oddiyana with the Essence of Blessings. Namo Guru Bhya. Here, intending to offer a concise supplication to the five kinds of skull-garland manifestations of Oddiyana Rinpoche, the eight names of Guru, and the twenty-five disciples with their retinues, I and all beings, from now until enlightenment, take refuge in the Three Jewels and the Three Roots. In order to attain perfect Buddhahood for the sake of others, I generate the mind of enlightenment in aspiration and action. Recite the refuge and bodhicitta three times. In the sky before me, in the center of an enchanting city and clouds of offerings, upon a precious lion throne, lotus, sun, and moon, is the root guru, Oddiyana Rinpoche. His complexion is white and red, youthful, blazing with splendor. His right hand holds a vajra, his left a skull-cup, and he embraces his secret consort, holding a khatvanga. He wears a secret robe, Dharma robe, and brocade. On his head is a She'u hat, beautiful to behold and liberating upon sight. His two feet are in the vajra posture, sitting upright. In the midst of a rainbow of light born from his three secrets, surrounded by clouds of oceans of vidyadhara lamas, such as the five skull-garland manifestations, the eight names, and the twenty-five heart-sons, lords, and subjects. The light rays marked with the three syllables at the three places invite the wisdom beings, becoming inseparable. Thus visualize clearly. Hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)! Arise, Padmasambhava, assembly of dakinis! Consider, all Sugatas of the ten directions and three times! Great Lord Padma Thötreng Tsal, I request you to come from the realm of vidyadharas and dakinis! Thus invite and dissolve the wisdom beings. He sits upon a lion throne, lotus, sun, and moon seat. With reverence in the three doors, I prostrate and take refuge. I offer outer, inner, secret, and unsurpassed clouds of offerings. I confess and purify the sins and obscurations accumulated in the three times. I rejoice in the virtue of noble and ordinary beings. I urge you to turn the wheel of the profound and vast Dharma. I supplicate you not to pass into sorrow but to remain forever. I dedicate all merit to great enlightenment. Thus accumulate merit. The actual embodiment of all Buddhas of the three times, the master of hundreds of human races, with the four kinds of activities.
