The vajra of mind, the sphere of innate wisdom, Padma Thötreng, who does not fixate on gathering and scattering, to the inseparable, all-pervading, glorious lama, I pray from the depths of my heart, please bless me. Just seeing his body stops ordinary deluded appearances, hearing his secret speech gives rise to great bliss wisdom, even remembering him steals away the fear of samsara and nirvana, I call to the one father lama, please consider me with love. I and beings like me, helpless and destitute, drowning in the ocean of suffering samsara, since there is no other refuge than you, protector, may this pure aspiration be quickly fulfilled. May temporary harms from diseases, evil spirits, elementals, etc., and all obstacles to practicing the sacred Dharma be pacified, and may lifespan, merit, wealth, learning, realization, qualities, etc., and all favorable conditions and goodness increase. May definitive renunciation and bodhicitta arise from the depths of my heart, may appearance, sound, and awareness all arise as deities, mantras, and dharmakaya, and through the vajra secret path of primordial purity and spontaneous accomplishment, may I be blessed to attain supreme accomplishment. If I do not exhaust the tenets of the schools in this life, may the death, the clear light, the meaning of Padmasambhava, be directly seen and cultivated without separation, and may I be liberated into the nature, dharmakaya realm. Even there, due to the power of other, the delusion of dualistic grasping, if the appearances of the bardo of existence arise, may the kind lama, Lotus-born Vajra, and the hosts of heroes and dakinis come to greet me, like raining down the sound of music and flowers, saying, "Only child, come here to the Glorious Mountain!" May I be led to the city of Lotus Light, prophesied by name as a field for practice on the earth. There, together with the hosts of vidyadharas and dakinis, may I always practice the supreme vehicle of Dharma, and relying on the skillful means of the great secret ripening and liberation path, may I quickly attain the state of the four kayas. Furthermore, may the unbiased teachings flourish and spread, may the lotus feet of the supreme holders of the teachings remain firm for hundreds of kalpas, may all the degeneration of the times in Tibet be pacified,

May the grand feast of a new and perfect age flourish! In short, from here to the essence of enlightenment, May the feet of the glorious Lama, the wish-fulfilling jewel, Inseparably and eternally reside in the lotus of my heart, Granting the auspiciousness of increasing all goodness in samsara and nirvana! This was composed through the blessings of the all-knowing Guru Orgyen, the master of the three times, at Drakmar Zangyak Namkhadzong, the place where heroes and dakinis naturally gather, at the neck of the Five-Peaked Mountain of Tibet, on the tenth day of the white side of the month of miracles in the Iron Male Dog year (1970), during the gathering offering, by Khyentse Wangpo, the subject who pleases the omniscient Lama, the holder of knowledge. May it be blessed to be accomplished just as it is!
