A treatise called "Praise to Manjushri, the Lion of Speech, through the Door of the Root Mantra, called 'Melodious Sound Born from the Ocean'" is present. In the language of India: Manjushri Vadi Simha Suti Svara Svati Hasa Maya Samrava Santanama. In the Tibetan language: "Praise to Manjushri, the Lion of Speech, called 'Melodious Sound Born from the Ocean'." I prostrate to the Bhagavan, the Vajra of Speech! The essence of Om (藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：Om), bestowing the supreme of samsara and nirvana, the supreme nature of indivisible Vajra. Hrih (藏文：ཧཱི，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Hrih), the ultimate of true wisdom, like the immaculate Shri Devi absorbed. Dhi (藏文：དྷི，梵文天城体：धी，梵文罗马拟音：dhī，汉语字面意思：Dhi) syllable complete, born from emptiness, the manner of great enlightenment of the Buddhas. Like a subtle reflection in a mirror of wisdom, I prostrate and pay homage to Manjushri Vajra. Mama, the sole supreme protector, dispelling the darkness of the two obscurations, expanding wisdom. Like a lamp (藏文：དཱི་པཾ，梵文天城体：दीपं，梵文罗马拟音：dīpaṃ，汉语字面意思：lamp), exceedingly bright, manifestly abiding in the innate realm. Manju, having abandoned the coarse touch of conceptualization, delighting and playing with desire free from outflows. Naturally pure Dharmadhatu wisdom, auspicious Manjushri, I prostrate and pay homage to you. Bri (藏文：བྲི་，梵文天城体：brī，梵文罗马拟音：brī，汉语字面意思：Bri), having reached the end of seeing non-duality, of one taste with all the Buddhas. Non-conceptual, individually discerning wisdom, I prostrate and pay homage to the melodious voice of Manjushri. The empty image arising from space, from wisdom that is not learned. The equality of all phenomena arising naturally, I prostrate and pay homage to youthful Manjushri. Hum (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुँ，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Hum), the magical display of wisdom's illusion, holding a variety of emanation nets. Dhih (藏文：དྷཱི，梵文天城体：धी，梵文罗马拟音：dhī，汉语字面意思：Dhi) Tsah syllable, born from red and yellow light, showing the play of the Buddhas in various ways. 名声如妙音，三界之中普照耀， 今朝垂爱于我者，金刚身语意密藏。 恳请显现加持甘露雨，盛开利益安乐之莲花。 通达甚深智慧之理，证悟无别无尽所知义。 愿从持明与无畏之法云，降下寂静清凉甘露大雨。 见闻忆触皆趋菩提道，祈愿诸佛菩萨垂加被。 愿具智之身解脱海，一切众生恒常得入之。 如是，依于至尊妙音语狮子之根本咒语的定解，以及与《妙吉祥幻化网续》之大王赞颂章节的定解，无垢光大疏之意趣相符，以双运的方式略作赞颂之偈颂，亦是依于成就至上之导师圣者佛陀之教言，为于修持之终获得成就，以劝请意乐之方式，释迦比丘蒋扬钦哲旺波所作祈请，成就！ 以根本咒语赞颂妙音语狮子，名为《海生莲开妙音》。

Whose fame as the melodious voice blazes forth throughout the three realms, Now, having shown me your loving-kindness, through the secret of the Vajra body, speech, and mind, Visibly grant the nectar of blessings, and cause the lotus of benefit and happiness to bloom! Seeing the profound nature of wisdom, and realizing the indivisible, limitless reality of all that can be known, From the clouds of Dharma, which are retention and confidence, may a great rain of peaceful, cool nectar fall. May seeing, hearing, remembering, and touching all be directed towards enlightenment, O chief of a billion Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! May all beings constantly enter the ocean of liberation, the body of wisdom! Thus, based on the definitive understanding of the root mantra of the venerable Manjushri, the Lion of Speech, and in accordance with the meaning of the great commentary, "Stainless Light," on the chapter of praise from the king of tantras, the "Net of Magical Illusion of Manjushri," this verse of slight praise in a unified manner, relying on the teachings of the supreme guide, the holy Buddha, was composed as a way to inspire commitment in order to attain accomplishment at the end of practice, by the Shakya monk Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. May it be accomplished! A praise to Manjushri, the Lion of Speech, through the root mantra, entitled "The Melodious Sound of the Blooming Ocean-Born Lotus."
