A Verse of Praise to the Lord Maitreya, a Flower of Faith A Verse of Praise to the Lord Maitreya, a Flower of Faith This is the Verse of Praise to the Lord Maitreya, a Flower of Faith. Namo Bhaṭṭāraka Maitri Nāthāya! In the past, from the Victorious One of Golden Light, Having fully grasped the two extraordinary Bodhicitta minds, Through skillful means, solely on the path of bliss, You skillfully ascended to the throne of omniscient kingship, O Unconquerable One! In the doctrine of the Sugata's precious umbrella, With the nectar of loving-kindness, you dispel the suffering of sentient beings, Like a new, unprecedented crescent moon, Your fame is renowned throughout the three realms, O Unconquerable One! Later, from the delight of a youthful twice-born, When the youthfulness of Bodhisattva conduct was perfected, You filled the world with benefit and happiness, I remember the wonders day by day, O Unconquerable One! With the extraordinary power of wisdom and compassion, Without difficulty, you exhausted the limits of the mind, You took possession of the sweetness of liberation, Your biography is unparalleled, O Unconquerable One! Here, in the doctrine of the kinsman of the sun, Even if I do a little work, in the future, You said you would give comfort, That truthful word I urge from the depths of my heart, O Unconquerable One! Is the heap of jewels, thoroughly refined, A play of a hundred beauties of marks and signs? The wisdom body that places doubt at its end, Please show it manifestly before my eyes, O Unconquerable One! The melodious sound of the sixty-branched lute, Applied to the profound and vast treatises of the supreme vehicle, Awakens from the sleep of the two extremes, Please make my ears nectar, O Unconquerable One! Although the elaboration of saying "this" is subdued, With hundreds of millions of billions of gazes of wisdom and compassion, You strive to follow all sentient beings, Please bless my continuum, O Unconquerable One! With the roar of unwavering faith from the heart, Praising the biography of the sons of the Victorious Ones, And striving forward with the aspiration to follow, Please protect me until enlightenment, O Unconquerable One! Me and all beings connected to me, The path of definitely emerging from existence and peace, Devotedly attend to it with one-pointedness, and other than that, Eliminate the signs of mental activity, O Unconquerable One! Pure ethics, and listening, thinking, meditation, And retention and fearlessness

进入广阔的船中，从烦恼所知平等融入的巨海中，成为超越的船夫吧，玛帕玛（无能胜）。何时此生的行境衰落之时，在兜率天喜悦的法座前，以圣者欢喜之手完全摄持，请赐予授记安慰吧，玛帕玛（无能胜）。总之，如您一般证得殊胜菩提后，将遍及虚空的无量有情众生，安置于利乐的妙道上的事业，请融入贤劫中吧，玛帕玛（无能胜）。这也是以游历各地的托钵僧钦哲之名，于二十一岁时，在由大菩萨衮奴嘉瓦（童子胜王）的事业所生的绒（地名）兜率慈氏洲的大型画像前，如是祈愿。之后也一次又一次地祈愿，愿其如是成就。萨瓦达卡拉亚那姆巴瓦度（藏文，梵文天城体：सर्वदा कल्याणं भवतु，梵文罗马拟音：sarvadā kalyāṇaṃ bhavatu，汉语字面意思：一切时吉祥）。 顶礼不死的怙主众神，以恭敬礼拜赞颂的力量，愿我相续中生起出离心和菩提心。从二资粮的巨海中诞生的，无量寿佛的本尊咒语和，以禅定显现成就二利的，莲花得以殊胜盛开。毗卢遮那佛、金刚、宝生和，莲花、事业部的智慧的，以甘露之流灌顶的，贤善更加成就。生生世世以五毒所积累的，寿命短促的障碍得以清净，愿五部种姓无量寿怙主的，果位安立于相续中。普贤功德智慧和，不动摇的自性甘甜，涤除违缘清净，金刚的守护成为殊胜。我的心间莲花和，顶上安住的智慧本尊，融入甘露妙味，身心成就长寿不死。七宝和八吉祥物等，以世间和出世间的财富所作的善，愿世间和出世间的，吉祥光芒炽盛。总之，从现在到菩提之间，愿无量怙主摄受，寿命和福德智慧的，二成就的吉祥增上。此愿望祈祷文，是释迦比丘蒋扬钦哲旺波所写，愿一切持教大德莲足永固。

Having entered the vast ship, from the ocean of afflictions and knowledge equally absorbed, May you be the captain who crosses over, Mapama (Unconquerable). Whenever the realm of this life declines, In the delightful Dharma seat of Tushita, with joy, Having completely taken hold with the hand of the noble ones, Please grant prophecy and comfort, Mapama (Unconquerable). In short, like you, Having attained supreme enlightenment, All the sentient beings, the ocean reaching the sky, May the activity of establishing the path of benefit and happiness, Be joined into the Fortunate Aeon, Mapama (Unconquerable). This also, by the name of Khyentse, a wandering renunciate roaming the realms, at the age of twenty-one, in front of the large image of Rong (place name) Tushita Maitreya Land, born from the activity of the great Bodhisattva Könnu Gyalchok (Youthful Victorious King), as prayed. Afterwards, may the repeated prayers be fulfilled as such. Sarva dā kalyāṇaṃ bhavatu (藏文，梵文天城体：सर्वदा कल्याणं भवतु，梵文罗马拟音：sarvadā kalyāṇaṃ bhavatu，汉语字面意思：May all be auspicious at all times). Homage to the assembly of immortal protectors, Through the power of reverently prostrating and praising, May renunciation and the two bodhicittas Increase in my being. From the ocean of the two accumulations, May the deity mantra of limitless life arise, And through the samadhi appearance of the two accomplishments, May the lotus supremely blossom. Vairochana, Vajra, Ratna, and, Lotus, Karma family wisdom, Through the nectar stream of empowerment, May the fortunate one be especially accomplished. From lifetimes of accumulating the five poisons, May the obscurations of short life be purified, May the five families, Amitayus protector, Place the state upon the lineage. Samantabhadra's qualities, wisdom, and, The unwavering nature of sweet nectar, Cleanse and purify obstacles, and, May the vajra protection be supreme. In the lotus of my heart center, and, The wisdom deity residing on the crown of my head, Through dissolving into the essence of bliss, May body and mind be accomplished as immortal. The seven precious jewels and the eight auspicious symbols, etc., Through the virtue of worldly and transcendent wealth, May the auspicious light of the worldly and transcendent Shine brightly. In short, from now until enlightenment, May the immeasurable protector guide, May the two accomplishments of life, merit, and wisdom, Increase the auspiciousness. This aspiration prayer is written by the Shakya monk Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, may the lotus feet of all the supreme upholders of the teachings be firm.
