In the Treatise on the Quintessence of the Perfection of Wisdom, the Ornament of Clear Realization, the Sixth Chapter, on the Gradual Application. In the Treatise on the Quintessence of the Perfection of Wisdom, the Ornament of Clear Realization, the Sixth Chapter, on the Gradual Application. Between generosity and wisdom, pure, Requested by Rapa. In four lines: Without action. This means that just as illusory elephants and so on, objects of focus and non-objects of focus, change in an instant, so too, bodhisattvas realize the absence of focus in an instant, not gradually. This is the intention. So said the Madhyamika. The Blessed One said: In five pages and four lines: Thus, it has no essence. Buddhas and so on, mindfulness and dharma. Rapa. Furthermore, in three pages and five lines: Not relying on other vehicles, it is not torn, abandoning birth in miserable realms, it is not destroyed, not mixed with evil beings and afflictions, it is unmixed. Because one part of white dharmas increases, it is without fault. Not making aspirations for birth, it is undiminished. As one wishes to go, it is endowed with power. Not despised by the wise, it is praised by the wise. Guarding the senses, it is the most perfect samadhi, with the collection of limbs increasing, it is samadhi. For a moment, it remains. These word emphases are arranged according to the words of Venerable Vimuktisena. Then, in twenty lines: What need to mention being separated from mindfulness? The absence of reality itself, is considered the action of gradualness. Rapa. Furthermore, after four pages: The clear realization of non-objectification. This means the attainment of non-objectification and the clear realization of non-objectification. If it is said, "For the sake of attainment and for the sake of clear realization," then there will be objectification, and in that case, it will become a great fault of objectification. Therefore, non-objectification itself is attainment and clear realization, and it is taught to be called perfect enlightenment. So said the Madhyamika. In two pages and twelve lines: It is difficult to grasp. These are: Gradual, three kinds, ten kinds. This means gradual, ten meanings.
