Seventh, regarding the five eyes: Seventh, regarding the five eyes: The teaching on the five eyes is: Son of Sharadvati, from then on, in one line, the wisdom that penetrates everything is the flesh eye; the knowledge of all samadhi and equanimity is the divine eye; the wisdom that knows everything is the wisdom eye; the wisdom that knows everything except the place and non-place is the Dharma eye; the vajra-like samadhi wisdom is the Buddha eye. Thus, after a general instruction, if we explain the five eyes separately, the first is the flesh eye: through prayer, by the power of high and low and the size of merit, the flesh eye of some great Bodhisattvas, the flesh eye of some great heroes. The second is the divine eye: prayer. From then on, on the third sheet, half a line and two lines are missing, it is the twelfth volume. The third is the wisdom eye: prayer. From then on, in the fourth line. The fourth is the Dharma eye: prayer. From then on, where there are four more lines: this is the dull-witted, who follows faith; this is the sharp-witted, who follows the Dharma. From then on, two lines are missing: by seeing, the five aggregates, the nature of destruction, the collection, are regarded as permanent and unique; the hesitation of doubting the truth; merely by guarding the precepts and practicing asceticism, one arrogantly thinks that one can attain Nirvana. The desire of the desire realm, and the malice of wanting to harm other sentient beings arising from hatred. From then on, one more line: the desire of the form realm, and the desire of the formless realm, the person who is free from the afflictions of the three realms, this is an Arhat. By dwelling in emptiness, the gate of liberation, one attains the fruit. From then on, half a line and six lines are missing: Arhat. By dwelling in the signless, one attains the fruit. From then on, there are six lines: complete knowledge. By dwelling in the wishless, one attains the fruit. From then on, there is about one more line: all arising, that is, the complete purity of the nature of birth. The merits of dwelling on the ground of adhimukti-carya is also shown as the Dharma eye. From then on, there are nine lines: the eye is completely pure. Through the Bodhi of the first ground

The conduct and qualities of a Bodhisattva, as well as wisdom, are also shown as the eye of Dharma. Then, when one line is missing on two sheets of paper, it is completely pure. Thus, for the princes from the second bhumi onwards, their nature, conduct, and qualities of wisdom are shown as the eye of Dharma. The fifth is the Buddha's eye: Request, Blessed One. Then, in five lines, the eye is completely pure. The previous presentation of the five eyes was in the context of the Tathagata, but here it is in the context of the Bodhisattva, so there is no fault of repeating twice. Then, in about three lines, one speaks truthfully with correct praise. Then, in one line, one manifestly attains enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Thus, the Bodhisattva's attainment of the five eyes is also attained by practicing the six perfections. This is shown. It is said in the 'Explanation of the Hundred Thousand Verses'.
