断除认为断灭的观点： 断除认为断灭的观点： 又有一些人，仅仅因为所断之物灭尽，就认为如同彩虹消失在空中一般，什么都不存在了，这就是灭谛。如果这样执着，那么这种认识也是不正确的。虽然所断的烦恼灭尽了，但法界并不会因此而消失，反而自性光明会更加显现。例如，如同光明璀璨的珍宝，即使去除了遮蔽它的泥垢，珍宝也不会消失，反而会更加显现光明一样。在《法界赞》中说：犹如珍贵的琉璃宝，无论何时都光明，如果处在地下，它的光芒就不显现。同样，被烦恼遮蔽的，法界极其清净，在轮回中光芒不显现，在涅槃中光芒才显现。如是所说。如果真的是彻底的断灭，那么就会和声闻部两派所认为的声闻，以及独觉的灭尽一样，没有任何差别。因为没有基础，所以特殊的功德也会消失。正因为如此，利益一切众生，成办安乐的事业也会消失，等等，会有很多过失。经典中也说：痛苦止息的真谛，才是真正的真谛，是常，是皈依处。等等，这些说法也会受到损害。 断除认为断灭的观点：

Refuting the View of Annihilation: Refuting the View of Annihilation: Furthermore, some people, merely because what is to be abandoned is extinguished, think that it becomes nothing, like a rainbow disappearing into the sky, and that this is the truth of cessation. If they cling to this view, then such understanding is not correct. Although the afflictions to be abandoned are exhausted, the realm of reality does not disappear. Rather, the naturally luminous nature becomes even more manifest. For example, just as a luminous jewel does not disappear even when the mud that obscures it is removed, but its luminosity becomes manifest, so it is. In the "Praise of the Realm of Reality," it says: Just as a precious beryl, is always luminous, but when it is situated in the earth, its light is not clear. Likewise, the realm of reality, obscured by afflictions, is extremely pure, but its light is not clear in samsara. In nirvana, its light becomes clear. As it is said. If it were truly complete annihilation, then it would be no different from the cessation of the Hearers as understood by the two Hearer schools, and the Solitary Realizers. Because there is no basis, special qualities would also disappear. For this very reason, the activity of benefiting all sentient beings and accomplishing happiness would also disappear, and so on, there would be many faults. The sutras also say: The truth of the cessation of suffering is indeed the true truth, is permanent, and is a refuge. And so on, these statements would also be harmed.
