Second, the karma arising from it. Second, the karma arising from it. There are three aspects: essence, classification, and distinctions such as the inconceivable. The first is: In the Treasury of Knowledge, it says, "The various worlds arise from karma. Karma is thought and what is done by it. Thought is also the karma of the mind. It generates the karma of body and speech." According to this definition, there are two types of karma: karma of thought and karma of consideration. The first is any karma, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, which is the intention of the cause of manifest action. Its characteristic is the movement of the mind towards an object, and it is the same as the thought of the five omnipresent mental factors. The second is the intention of thought related to body, speech, and mind at the time of manifest action. The second classification is: non-meritorious karma, meritorious karma, and unwavering karma. Of these three, the first causes rebirth in the lower realms, the second causes rebirth in the desire realm's good realms, and the third causes rebirth in the two upper realms. The first of these, non-meritorious karma, is non-virtuous karma, and although there are many distinctions of paths of karma, here the types or main ones are summarized as the ten non-virtuous paths of action, each of which has three aspects: essence and differences in results. These ten non-virtuous actions are also encompassed by body, speech, and mind. Second, the karma arising from it.
