List of Sacred Substance Dharma Medicines List of Sacred Substance Dharma Medicines ༄༅། A list of blessed, faithful supports, sacred substances, and Dharma medicines. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma siddhi hūṃ. I prostrate to the Lama and the Yidam! The essence of all Buddhas of all times and directions, The nature of the entire Sugata mandala, The crown jewel of Vidyadharas and accomplished ones, To Guru Padmasambhava, I pay homage. Here, I will briefly elaborate on the list of blessed, faithful supports, sacred substances, and Dharma medicines. As stated in the Sutra Pitaka, "The Heap of Jewels": Whoever remembers the Buddha, the Tathagata resides before them, and they will receive blessings and empowerment. As stated, the cause for blessings to enter is solely dependent on faith. All the teachings of the Tripitaka, tantras, agamas, and instructions unanimously state that, in general, if one has faith in deities, lamas, Dharma brothers and sisters, substances, mantras, or sacred substances, accomplishments will arise, as this is the characteristic of mantras. Therefore, the Great Orgyen said: "Blessings enter through the faith of your knowing mind; intentions are accomplished through wisdom free from doubt." In particular, most beings in this degenerate age of decline do not remember the sacred Dharma, and even if they do, they are subject to obstacles. Most deceive each other, leading to lower realms. Wandering in the cycle of samsara, it takes a long time to attain liberation. Out of compassion for these beings, the Buddhas have given the profound instructions for special liberation-granting sacred substances. If one swallows even a small amount, the size of a mustard seed, of this unsurpassed precious pill, one will temporarily remember death and impermanence. This will inspire one to enter the correct path and ultimately become a fully enlightened Buddha. Immediately, it will also pacify external evil influences, subdue internal diseases, and secretly generate extraordinary non-conceptual experiences in the mindstream. Even at the time of death, relics and solid remains will appear, and the benefits are beyond description. The actual lineage of this sacred substance is: etc. In short, if one can continuously rely on this sacred substance pill, or on special occasions, after cleansing and relying on the three white foods, and then consume this sacred substance pill, one will obtain benefits beyond thought and expression, as stated in the tantras of secret mantra. Temporarily, one will also have a long life, few illnesses, and protection from harm by beings, both human and non-human.

May all sufferings be pacified. If taken, bliss and warmth will blaze, and the knots of the channels will be released. If burned and its smoke is smelled, it will clear away dullness, dimness, and fogginess. Wisdom will increase. By wearing it on the body, all beings, gods and humans, will develop faith. If mixed with water and bathed or drunk, it will immediately eliminate defilements and impurities. If placed inside Buddha statues, tsatsas, and stupas, it will increase blessings. It brings warmth and auspiciousness. If carried to the peak of a great mountain, power will be higher than the heavens. Fame will be greater than the thunder of the sky. If thrown into the course of a great river, the lineage of descendants and the Dharma lineage will be longer than the river. All living beings in that river who taste it will purify their karmic obscurations and attain liberation. Furthermore, it has inconceivable qualities such as protecting against all diseases of humans, livestock, and epidemics, as well as averting and pacifying them. Ultimately, it is said to lead to the attainment of complete and perfect enlightenment as a Buddha. How is this possible? Just as a small amount of poison can kill a great person, a small pill can cure a great illness, a small spark can burn a great mountain, and yeast can make wine ferment, these are all due to the power of the substances themselves. Although this is said in the tantric scriptures, it should not be given to those who lack faith. If given to those with wrong views, it will be like poison, destroying both this life and the next. Therefore, the skillful means of secret mantra are intended for such purposes. May this sacred substance benefit all those with faith and devotion, and may it be a profound instruction for attaining Buddhahood without the need for meditation on experiential liberation. Ema! Such a supreme sacred substance, a catalogue of experiential liberation, a lotus garland. Like beads strung on a thread, an unparalleled jewel. Adorned with the melodious voice of the Lord of Lotus Dance. Offered by one who holds pure intention, altruistic thoughts, and actions. May this virtue shake the ocean of samsara for all sentient beings. And become a sacred staircase to omniscient liberation. May the Dharma, the Dharma holders, and the Dharma increase like the waxing moon. May the banner of the undying Dharma be raised! Om Svasti!
